Sometimes
**If your dog is particularly dog-reactive, there are booking times which will work better for you. Please contact me prior to booking so that we can make a plan to care for your dog's needs.**
My neighbors on the east side have two dogs which may be outside during your visit. The screamo husky is Jasper. He's sometimes outside for large parts of the day, so he'll probably want to say hi. He may give small howls of frustration if he can see dogs play and can't join, but after a few minutes he'll ignore you. The other dog is Bridger. If he had a license plate it would read BORN2BORK, but he is friendly.
They like to run up and down the fence line, and may pose a challenge for particularly reactive guest dogs. Allowing this to occur can be problematic: dogs have ground their claws down to the quick when running back and forth along the fence. For this reason, it's best for owners of reactive dogs to enter the spot while still on-leash, then watch and listen for signs of dogs across the fence on the east side. If they're out, it may be best to instead work on your dog's reactivity as instructed by your animal behavior consultant. Bring your extra-special treats, or message me and ask for some.
There is also a church on the north side. the property is rarely busy (except Sundays), but occasionally people walk dogs through that area.
Aside from these, several other neighbors in the area also have dogs. No others are visible from the spot, but some are audible at times.
