Welcome to Dolce Ridge Dog Park! This property is a fully operational chestnut farm that doubles as a dog park in the off season. The property includes a fully enclosed 7 acre lot as well as some wooded area with a creek outside of the fenced-in area that you're welcome to explore as well!

HOST NOTE

- Being that this property is in the country, please be aware it’s possible you and your dog(s) might encounter such wildlife as gophers, snakes, deer, or others. - Uneven terrain, including animal burrows/holes. - The pond on the property is open for dog use only. Please no human swimming or fishing in the pond. While it’s not required or necessary, as an added safety precaution, we recommend your dog(s) are vaccinated against leptospirosis. Also, there are no flotation devices on the premises. - Burrs: Chestnuts grow inside burrs, which you'll see around the property. These burrs are sharp. While we do our best to keep the property free of them, it's impossible to clear them all. Most of them are pretty worn down at this point, and many dogs have spent hours on this property without incident, but it’s still something to be aware of. *PLEASE NOTE: these burrs are especially noticeable in October, once the harvest has ended. - Dolce Ridge is NOT responsible nor should they be held liable for any accidents or injuries for you or your dog(s) as a result of using the pond or visiting this property. You are voluntarily visiting this property at your own risk.

We ask that you respect the trees and please don’t climb on them, use their branches/alter them in any way, or disturb the burrs (where the nuts grow). - The pond on the property is open for dog use only. Please no human swimming or fishing in the pond.

Please make sure your pup is trained for proper recall and staying in the vicinity of you as my property is partially fenced with several areas in the wooded section being barbwired. I do have a 1 year old yellow Labrador if you’re looking for a play pal for your pup provided they aren’t aggressive or have any behavior issues. There is an area I am currently clearing out to become a pond here soon. Well Water hose is available for filling up water bowls. There is a huge hammock available for people to use at their own risk and I do have a firepit that can be used as long as I am contacted first and you bring your own supplies.

Our property’s back yard has a large lake, which is why it is listed as “partially”fenced. Otherwise, it is fully fenced. So if your furbaby is a swimmer, they will LOVE it here! There is a ramp leading directly into the water near our dock. However if your fur baby loves to swim TOO much and decides to exit the lake on the opposite side of our property, then you may have to hop in your car and retrieve them around the block, but If they have good recall, awesome! Lots of shade, and wildlife (ducks, geese, squirrels, raccoons) (Do not let your dog harm any of the wildlife). If your dog is a “prey” dog and you fear it will chase and catch a duck, goose, raccoon, then this may not be the place for you. If they know “leave it” then fantastic! :-) During the winter, if the lake is freezing over or frozen, we will NOT allow bookings.
