WE JUST CELEBRATED OUR 700TH GUEST!!! Thank you everyone for loving our spot and helping us to serve the dog community with such a special place for them to feel free and enjoy just being a dog. Our place belongs to you. To see what it's like to visit our spot and get a taste of what your dog feels like to be free - Check out the video below made by one of our guests. Or you can search "Macklin's Day with a GoPro" on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i2UmAM9ww4 WE ARE OPEN 7 days-a-week Year-Round (including holidays)! Our guests describe our Sniffspot as a "Destination Spot." That is why our guests travel here from Grand Rapids, Holland, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. We have Ten scenic wooded acres (square). Fully fenced in. Walk along the pond and through the trees on groomed trails. There are also yard areas and a picnic table. Beautiful and private acreage with views of a 60-acre non-motorized lake. Canicross and Canicross Training welcome! One lap of our outer loop (through the woods) = 1/2 mile. We are set up nicely to practice 5K.

Hazards

Pond, Lake, and Woods *If you see a turtle, do not approach it! Let us know and we will relocate it. *There are some prickers around the banks of the pond and in some areas of the woods. *We have had one guest who let us know their dog got some burrs. *Expect to encounter normal insects from a woods setting. *We hide Kong Squeakair tennis balls in the woods for dogs to find. There is an inherent risk in letting your dog play with tennis balls. By visiting our Sniffspot you are accepting this risk. If you would like us to remove any balls that we have hidden, we would be happy to do so. However, balls/toys are often left behind by guests (we have a large property). Please closely monitor your dog. The safety of your dog is your responsibility!

Beach, Deck, Dock, & Swim Raft$20

Enjoy our private beach, swim raft, dock, and picnic table. You are welcome to bring floatables, kayaks or paddle boards and even watch your dog do some dock diving. Enjoy the spectacular view on our private deck overlooking the beautiful 60-acre non-motorized lake and have a picnic. *This extra must take place during your scheduled time. Know that you would be outside of the fenced area and may encounter other people and/or dogs.

Dog Wash - bring your supplies$10

Outdoor dog wash equipment (cold water only). Bring your own towels and shampoo. Electric available. *Dog washing must take place during your scheduled time.

Get Your Glow On - One Dog$12

Enjoy our SniffSpot in the dark! (Available to book anytime between 7pm-11pm.) We supply an LED headlamp for you along with a bright, neon, LED glow-in-the-dark dog collar for your pooch. (Leave them behind when you leave.) We also sell the collars at the house. Message us if you are interested.

Tiki Time$45

It's Tiki Time! Enjoy our private beach at night with your pooch! A spectacular view with the flames from the Tiki torches reflecting off the water and a fire pit upon request (Ready to light when you arrive, wood provided.) Bring your own hotdogs, smores, etc. Swim or not, it's up to you! :-) *Must book a minimum of 2-hours starting at 7pm or later. Be advised - the beach area is outside the fenced SniffSpot and you may see/hear other people and dogs.

Additional rules

No campfires please, We are in a National forest. Please avoid all other possibilities of fire. Sniffspot leaves a half hour between visits for current guest to leave and a new guest to arrive. Please be timely and when possible please schedule tight after a scheduled guest or leave a 2-hour window between so a 1-hour guest can squeeze in. We are filling up on weekends. My wife and I moved to this beautiful wooded property years ago with our two children and our dog Bear Bear. Our son created this beautiful trail through the woods where we would take Bear for walks everyday. Our beloved Bear Bear has passed and we are opening up this trail for a sniffspot in his honor. Bethany's Fully Fenced Yard

Let your dog run around our yard while you enjoy our deck. Water, treats and some toys provided for your pup. Private gate entry into a mostly private, completely fenced in yard. Kids are free to play with our toys. WiFi provided upon request!

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
