I have owned many dogs over the years. My current is a German Shepard/Pit mix. Her favorite time of the day is "field" time.

The property is mostly wooded with some open field areas. There’s a trail system that is manicured and maintained as best as possible, but it’s not perfect, yet! The pond is a duck pond, my dogs will go in around the edges but rarely swim. I personally don’t like it but dogs will be dogs. There are domestic ducks who can out swim the dogs but please ensure they’re not chased on land. There are trash cans randomly and picnic tables scattered throughout- More will continue to be added. WiFi is currently being connected and should available throughout the property and trails. Pathway lights will be added. The trails can lead you to the highway border- It is fenced, there’s two spots along the trails to lower the fence and cross over and access the rest stop bathroom, vending machines, etc.

Welcome to our “back 40,” featuring an evergreen alcove, a small wooded walking path, lots of room to run, and tons of sticks to play with. For the humans we have a picnic table and two lounge chairs for relaxation. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. Reach out with anything you need and I will make sure to provide the best I can for you and your pup! I hardly use the backyard at all except to add leaves or compost to the compost tumbler or occasionally to mow. That means it is all yours. This spot is definitely OPEN and no need to verify that with me beforehand. I will mark if it is occupied. Water spigot is outside of fenced area, on left side of house (viewed from street) near gas meter.
