55Our dog Mya had so much fun here! She wasn't so interested in her running after the ball as she usually would be but it was definitely great to see her explore and visit with the horses and pony! The host Patrick was very friendly! Definitely bring those mud boots and plan on getting some horse love!!
55The horses at Drago's farm are 5 star amazing! I can't think of a better way to introduce a dog to horses. Both horses (or horse and pony) were calm and non-threatening and one was extremely friendly in a gentle way. This would not be a good place for any dogs who might be aggressive to or harass horses, as they are loose in the area. The owners put their dog away as I arrived and barking could be heard occasionally. Hosts were friendly and were in the area at times, so guests should notify hosts if their dogs are reactive to people. I would not recommend off leash activity here at this time- too many potential hazards. There was a pile of boards with nails sticking out of them along the driveway and areas of fencing down. But for poking around on leash, it was very enjoyable. There is a hillside to clammer up, pile of rocks to climb on, ducks in a pond to watch, pastures to wander through, and the setting is very peaceful and quiet. And awesome horses!
55Had a great time at the farm! We had plenty of space for the dogs, and the hosts were great! I will be going again
55"Really enjoyed Patrick’s farm, and my dogs LOVED the space. The dog run lot is on the lower portion of the property, so you don’t go up the hill to the main house entrance, but turn right on a little gravel road right before and stop at the first gate on the left, where they’ll let you in. They leave out a bucket of water, which is really thoughtful! We also got to say hi to some super sweet cows, which I LOVED! Great location and great hosts."
45This spot was super fun for my dogs! The owner was incredibly friendly and came out to greet us right away. The only things I wish I’d know were that there is running water in the field (at least when we went in November), and that there’s a lot of poo! I’m sure this is to be expected on a property with farm animals but I didn’t think about it, and my dogs were really excited to eat as much as they could before I called them off it. Otherwise, really excellent spot!
55We reserved two hours at the farm and our pups loved every minute of it. It was really hard to get them to leave! I also appreciated how quickly our request to book was confirmed.
55Had an amazing time bringing Soba to Patrick's farm! First of all, the property itself is amazing. I don't even know how many acres it is, but he had multiple pastures that were multiple acres each. The pasture we played in was long and narrow, securely fenced on three sides and open on one side. I had no issues with Soba escaping. There is another open pasture that is fully fenced for dogs that may tend to run more. The farm has some free range chickens by the house, so make sure your dog is under control when not in the pasture. I am going to come back again and bring a couple more dogs!
55My foxhound had a great time sniffing & running. A wild rabbit outfoxed her but she kept on its trail. Lots of hillside to climb above the pasture below that was flooded by February rain.

Description

"A natural stream pops right out of the hill and feeds our duck/trout pond. Goats chickens and our horse named Summer roam the property and are friendly, especially with treats in hand! The property is 5 acres with multiple pastures, some fully fenced and some partially fenced. The pastures are fenced securely, but a smaller dog may be able to find their way out of them. There are also free roaming chickens, so this would NOT be a good place for a pup with a strong prey drive. We have a 5 year old German Shepherd, Louis, who is very playful. Let us know if you would like for Louie to join in your play or if you would like us to keep him inside."

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We hope you enjoy your time here. Just a reminder to please pick up the toys and water bowls that you use when here and place them in the 'used/dirty bin'. This ensures a clean space for the pups that visit after you. Thanks! It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, our home and other single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. There are also chickens nearby - see note below. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *🎾💦 For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. There are cleaning materials in case you would like to sanitize or self-clean bowls or toys. Thank you! * 🥾The terrain of the pasture does have some dips, bunny holes and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of longer pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *💦 There is a water jug and spigot with hose in the pasture to use for drinking water. If you use the spigot, please be sure to turn it off. There are small plastic pools available for warm days. You are welcome to use a pool, but please empty it after use and return it to the fenceline area. *💡we have 4 sets of string lights on our fence, two small solar spotlights on the fence, and one large spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *🐓 There are two hens and one rooster on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you
