Welcome to Redwood Acre Ranch! Here we offer a dog park for your pup on a local farm. Our farm animals are secured behind a fenced area but close enough for your pup’s enrichment. The are is fully fenced, with a pooper scooper, trash can and water bowl. We have 4 resident dogs that love exploring the scents left behind by visiting dogs. Two of them work as herding dogs, one is a paraplegic chihuahua (which really has no farm job) and the last one is a livestock guardian who does take her job very seriously. Fortunately, your booking will give us enough time to have the dogs secured before visitors. The swimming pool is for dog use only. Parking on the street only-please do not park anywhere on the property or driveway. We need that area clear for people coming and going. In addition, spots on the property is reserved for the farm and house members. Thank you 🙏

Wide Open Space - Time for Rain Boots

Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in (we fill the pool every day, but can get the extra to have it freshly filled for your pup) Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.

Hello! I have 2.5 fully fenced in acres for your dog to run, sniff, swim and explore. I do have goats on the property (and my neighbors) that are fenced separately, but dogs have access to smell them. Dogs aren’t able to access goats, but the can get close to smell them. There are horses, goats, donkeys, and chickens nearby, but not on the property. There’s a small pond with fish and frogs, and a pool that dogs can access. I have a small dog who may bark when you arrive but will stop quickly. There are several cats on the property who are used to large dogs and very good at disappearing. Chances are you won’t see them at all. I also have two small pastures that can be closed off to keep dogs in a smaller area if necessary. Lots of trees for shade. Our grass is always cut down and we keep the property watered so no sign of rattlesnakes. During the summer months, there are stickers if the dogs venture off the grass. We have had several dogs come visit the property and they always love coming back. I try to meet everyone for their first visit but if I can’t I will send a message letting you know. If you would prefer not to be bothered just let me know. Some dogs like their space, I won’t be offended at all. There is a picnic table by the pool so feel free to bring a snack or lunch and enjoy. With 60 hay baled and special 3/4” foam flooring for shock absorption, then disinfected with Rescue between visits, it gives you and your pet a fun, temperature controlled space to play or practice training and confidence building!
