Have owned dogs my entire life and heavily involved in the animal world: rescue, boarding, vet science, animal shelter and animal hospitals. Have about 1/2 an acre of fully fenced in yard (pvc) down to the ground and a pool gated as well. No trees, shrubs or bushes in the yard as those attract bugs. Overhang on porch for shade as well.
