55Best yard and can’t wait to visit in summer time too. We will for sure be back!! Secure fence, privacy screen near trail.
45The fenced in space was nice! The highway was very noisy.
55This was a great spot for our dogs! They had a great time running around like crazy, loved the toys, and appreciated having ample water available. Highly recommend!
55Wonderful place, second visit my pup was already excited to be back! The creek is wonderful and we both enjoyed watching the wildlife that hangs out around it
45Our dog and her bff had a great time running in this great bit yard! We loved the scenic creek setting, too. Only drawbacks were that the blue/yellow agility equipment from the photos was not out, and none of the pvc jumps had crossbars installed. Also, there were some resident dog poops in the yard - so be aware if your dog is one who eats poop.
55Right next to the freeway so it was a little loud! But she was able to enjoy her time without being too fearful :)
55Nice incline in the yard to help tire out the dogs more
55My puppy loved the snow. Next to a busy road though, but not bad
55We love this sniff spit!! Gigi has such a good time!! 🥰
55Snow Day Zoomies!

there's a public trail that runs along the west side of the yard, separated by a chain link fence covered with a privacy screen. there's occasional bicyclists, walkers, and dogs with their owners that walk the trail. most dogs will not notice other dogs being walked because of the privacy screen. on the other side of the walking path is university avenue, and being in a bedroom community, traffic noise will be greater during weekday rush hours. there's water bowls and jugs of clean water on the picnic table in the yard. in addition, a motion-activated dog watering station is located under the deck on the right (near the entrance gate).

Description

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage. HOW TO BYPASS FORCED SUBSCRIPTIONS - Sniffspot appears to be forcing subscriptions as of December 2024, currently you may get around this and book without a subscription by using the website www.sniffspot.com instead of the app. When booking, there is a SKIP link on the upper right of the page that forces a free trial of the three subscription options. Apologies for this bad experience and greediness by Sniffspot that is out of our control. Please try not to walk on areas covered with straw as they have been recently seeded for clover and grass.

Curbside or off street parking A nice shady big corner lot that wraps around the back of the white utility shed next to the house. Entry gate off the top of the driveway. It A completely wood and cyclone fenced area. Want to play in a safe area with your dog(s) at night? Flood lights will make the play area nice & bright. Off leash, privacy, play time for you, you/family, and of course, your beloved dog(s) Squirrels and rabbits pass through the dog park. My beloved miniature little brown poodle, Morty Mocha Wonka, once captured a fast rabbit in the side yard park that was bigger than himself, thus, Elvis Presley became his friend, and Morty was no longer a “Hound Dog” For warm or hot sunny days, the Red Maple Tree in the play area will provide you with instant shade, and it is the perfect spot for provided chair(s) where you can throw optional provided numerous rubber ball toys to your dog(s) to play fetch & retrieve. Perhaps your dog(s) would like to take a run thru the 12 ft nylon agility tube, the adjustable garden hose nozzle will provide you the option to relieve yourself(s) and dog(s) with a cold refreshing mist, including sanitized stainless steel water dish(es) at your disposal, For clean up, towels, hand sanitizer & plastic small poop bags are at your disposal with a trash can to get rid of anything undesirable. It would make me very happy to know your dog(s) are enjoying the converted side yard private dog park, as my beloved dogs did, especially my white standard poodle Buddy, who the dog park is named after. He loved to crouch down (because one time the ball hit him) by the pine trees and the very tall 20-30 ft high arborvitaes that line the west wood perimeter fence, as he waited for me to throw a rubber ball to him, that he would eagerly fetch and return to me. A canine, human experience, that will make you and your dog(s) want to return for more. Questions?
