Yes (Always)
in october 2022, my next door neighbor came to my house with a severely neglected 14 month old shih-apso puppy named benji that she had rescued. benji was living in the dominican republic in someone's backyard to fend for himself. when i got him he was completely matted from head to tail, had never eaten or drank water from dog bowls and thought everyone he saw was to be reckoned with. he is in the process of being trained so if you come into my home to use the bathroom, benji will bark. i also have 3 rescue rabbits (bunjovi, bailey the bunny and thumper the humper) and a rescue hamster (houdini-dreamer) but they don't make any noise and are strictly inside dwellers. benji also stays inside with me during sniffspot guest visits. there have been instances of huge hawks flying overhead, squirrels playing in neighboring trees, small brown anole lizards, dragon flies, moths and lubbers.
