45Nice spot. Dogs next door are a little crazy.
55Great yard with lots of little areas to sniff and a big runway for sprinting.
55My dogs had so much fun here! There was so much room to run, and lots of toys!
55Archie had a blast playing fetch! The recent wet weather meant there were mosquitoes at & after sunset, and the next door neighbor’s dog barked at us quite a bit toward the end of our visit. But Archie didn’t mind too much. We’ll be back!
55Great large yard and very friendly host
55This is the second time we’ve been here and it’s my favorite spot. lots of room and such a good place to run out the pups!
55The dogs loved the large space to run around in, and plenty to explore.
55Great spot! We had tons of open space for fetch!
55The yard is large and secure, with lots of toys (balls and frisbees, mostly) to play with. It also has a few sections of shade that were nice on a sunny day. A neighbor dog barked at us as we entered, but was quiet after we got inside the gate.
55Great spot! I’ve been there a few times with a friend and her dog and love how spacious it is. Plenty of room to romp around. There were toys there and my dog definitely played with them. I especially like the option for a 30 minute timeframe.

UPDATE: THERE IS A RENTAL HOUSE TWO DOORS DOWN AND THEY HAVE A DOG. THEIR PROPERTY IS NOT FENCED AND THE DOG MAY ENTER THE BACK FIELD AND BE UP NEXT TO THE FENCE ADJACENT MY DOG PARK. I have a cat that may sometimes be visible behind the gate to my back yard area that can be seen but is not accessible to the dogs.

I love yardwork so you’ll find a pleasant place to enjoy with your pets. I have lost two of my own dogs and enjoy getting some kisses from friendly canines that visit my park.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
