55We are a group of friends with 3 young Shelties ages 14, 18 and 26 months and very energetic. This is the perfect place for them and they love it. They run and run, and because the space includes some shrubs and the pagoda they can fully use their breed instincts and do both big loops and twisty and tight dives over, under, around and through things. Watching them play is truly watching poetry in motion. We try to do this at least once a week and sometimes even more. It’s crucial for dogs to be able to use their breed instincts.
55What a fantastic yard! Loved that there was some covered space to get out of the rain. Thank you Karla!
55Nice, big yard. Only thing worth noting is that the yard is under the airport flight path, so there is some noise occasionally if your pet is sound sensitive. Thanks for sharing the space!
55Beautiful, huge yard close to SE and SW Seattle. Fully secure fencing for my escape artist and lots of room to run, play fetch, and explore. We will definitely be back!
55Karla offers an oasis in an urban jungle. The dogs love the space too!
55This place is dreamy. Perfect for our dog (who can be people and dog reactive) to play without fear or leash. She was in heaven. So much space and a very quiet neighborhood.
55My two pups had a great time exploring the beautiful yard. We also played fetch with some of the toys (:
55Wonderful host and great space! Will visit again!!!
55It was really great for my two big pups. One with a lot of energy and one with medium energy :)
55Fantastic spot, incredibly gracious host, lots of room to run and a very secure fence. Couldn't ask for more

I do not have a dog, and any dogs that might be in the area would be only visible from the front, street side. Since I have a very large back yard with a 6 foot fence, I may never know if my neighbors have dogs, unless they bark at something. Occasionally, I see dogs at neighbor's houses. Mostly, I think they are "guest dogs", since I don't see them all the time.

I'm a TOTAL geek that loves my daughter, friends and my pets. There are fruit trees and gardens to feed us in my yard. Anyone is welcome to the harvest, as I love sharing healthy foods! I do not spray pesticides, nor do I use a lot of chemicals in my house. I had a couple of beautiful malamutes for 13 years. After their passing, I decided I would play with my granddogters and other people's pups for a while. I love adventure and do a lot of fun, "circusy" things, so if you want to bring over some things to play with in my yard or gym, let me know!

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We hope you enjoy your time here. Just a reminder to please pick up the toys and water bowls that you use when here and place them in the 'used/dirty bin'. This ensures a clean space for the pups that visit after you. Thanks! It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, our home and other single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. There are also chickens nearby - see note below. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *🎾💦 For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. There are cleaning materials in case you would like to sanitize or self-clean bowls or toys. Thank you! * 🥾The terrain of the pasture does have some dips, bunny holes and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of longer pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *💦 There is a water jug and spigot with hose in the pasture to use for drinking water. If you use the spigot, please be sure to turn it off. There are small plastic pools available for warm days. You are welcome to use a pool, but please empty it after use and return it to the fenceline area. *💡we have 4 sets of string lights on our fence, two small solar spotlights on the fence, and one large spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *🐓 There are two hens and one rooster on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you
