Additional rules
Hello everyone,
Welcome to our little piece of paradise, where dogs can roam freely, frolic about, and play!! These guidelines are in place for everyone's comfort and safety. Please read through these before you arrive so that you know what to expect. The first thing to know is that because we don't have garbage service ourselves we cannot offer that to you. For this reason, we ask that you carry in, carry out, including pet waste, toys, etc. We want to make sure our space is safe for all members and visitors.
There are places to sit (for you). We have a firepit, if you'd like to build a fire (please see under extras). We have a hydrant with fresh well water over by the old claw foot tub in the second enclosed area.
1. Please open the farm gate towards you coming onto the property and open towards your vehicle going back to your vehicle. Do not open the gate towards the field, or it will be damaged. Also, please do not drive into the field.
2. Please, please, please pack it out! Including your dog's poo and bags of poo, as we do not get garbage service here, even for ourselves.
3. There are smaller friendly female neighbor's dogs (on the other side of the periphery fence) who sometimes bark, most of the time they can be quieted if you go say hi, at least that works for me, when I am playing with my dogs : ).
4. There is a hydrant and bowls next to the claw foot tub (in the larger second field) that you are welcome to use. Please use the hydrant by making sure the lever is pulled upwards and using the red round handled spigot to fill and rinse the bowls. Then please put handle back down when finished.
4. Have fun!
5. If I am around and your dog is not human reactive, then I may ask if I can come say hi, if you are ok with it and if I am here. : )
6. Please, for liability reasons, we can not have anyone under the age of 18 on the premises. Thank you for honoring our things to know.
7. Please be sure to look around for any missed poo, toys, and other possessions before leaving and take with you. Again, please look around for toys, tennis size balls are dangerous for bigger dogs and can get stuck in their throat which actually happened to my dog and he almost died, so I always encourage people to use bigger balls and to make sure that they are taken with you when you leave.
8. Please do not let your dog dig. It creates unsafe conditions for everyone. Please keep an eye on them at all times.
9. Up to 4 dogs and 4 people over the age of 18 may be here at one time.
10. Please do not bring any furniture, food, any glass containers, alcohol, etc onto the premises without first getting an okay from owner.
11. We have parking for 2 cars. If more is needed, please check with owner prior to reservation to see if it is something they can accommodate.
12. If you would like a special situation for your visit, such as more people or dogs, please let me know and we may be able to accommodate.
