Two rocking chairs, several toys, and water for doggo (given enough notice) provided. Three sides of house/chain-link fencing, and remaining side wire on opposite side of tree/brush area. Squirrels are often seen in the yard, and occasionally people (with and without dogs of their own) will pass by. Excellent space for fetch and running around!

Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. ***Recently added a Ninja Fireside 360 heater on the patio to keep you warm on those cold days. Free to use. Please make sure to turn propane on/off. This fully fenced in yard is the ultimate oasis. Walk your dog on over and relax next to Ford Lake with optional usage of the fire pit, fridge, and tiki torches. We also have two playgrounds for younger children (or children at heart) to enjoy. There's also a scooper, dog poop station, and toys available for you to use. Wifi is available free for guests. Connection information will be sent during your booking. Need to charge your phone or use an outlet? Feel free to plug-in to our outdoor receptacles. Need to run your dog at night? Not a problem! We have exterior lights we can turn on both by the lake and near the house that will give you more than enough light to see. There's also solar lights placed throughout the yard. While we don't specifically have an outdoor restroom, if you need to use the restroom, message us and we can let you inside. Dogs must remain outside while you use the facilities. Stay for an hour or have an evening relaxing by the lake with your pup. Note that if your dog is more reactive around people, we recommend coming during the morning during the week. During the summer you may see neighbors out in their yards doing yard work. We have put the pool away and started putting the hoses away for the season. While we do our best to keep the yard free of poop and check every other day, you may still find some from either guests or our two dogs. We have nearly an acre of yard and it does make it difficult for us to find them all every time. As far as updates from this summer, we have poured two concrete pads: one for a shed and another as a patio under the pergola. We have also had the black walnut tree by the garage cut back significantly to the property line. While this reduces shade on the garage area, it also should reduce the amount of black walnuts that fall.

Please be aware other dog owners may have rented the same time slot on Area 2 the adjacent field. The South Fully Enclosed Field has 6' fencing and is fully secure preventing escape. Overall Site Description - Two separate (side-by-side) fully enclosed softball fields that also serve as a semi-private exercise park for dogs. The grassy outfield and secure fencing provide plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while owners can enjoy the open surroundings. With no permanent shade structures, visitors often bring their own chairs or canopies. To maintain the looking clean fields, please pick up dog waste, children play here too. Thank you!
