My dog is very nervous of new environments and fearful of strangers after being in the shelter for 4 years. When we decided to try to take him on vacation with us, I specifically picked this location for the first half of our trip because of this Sniffspot. For the past 3 years, I have wanted the chance to bring him here, and I can say that it did not disappoint. We had him wear a 15 foot drag line in the larger fenced in area, but that was just due to us being a bit nervous with it being such a large area with so many places for him to go. The fence was completely secure, and I have no doubt it would have kept him in if he had tried to get out. It was so nice getting to see him relax, sniff, and have total freedom of movement without stress from any triggers. It is so rare that reactive dogs can get experiences like this, and I am so grateful that he could have this one. I can’t even describe the joy I felt getting to see him run full speed through the grass, watch frogs and little snakes move across the ground, and zoom through the trails. We will certainly be back the next time we travel to Michigan.

Great place for dogs! Loads of running space and sniffing opportunities. We heard dogs since this is a dog boarding but didn’t see any dogs. There are birds in a fenced area that are great enrichment. Our dogs are fascinated and kept running to them.

Always wonderful.... our pup was very interested in the pig as we drove in and out of the driveway and the pig (does the pig have a name?) seemed very interested in us.... very cute. Beyond that the usual enjoyable time was had!

My two dogs had a great time at the Farm! I’m so grateful we were able to come. The owner of the space was helpful in making sure my boy could get there asap since we do not know how long he has due to his recent cancer diagnosis. The dogs enjoyed all the sights and smells, and I felt very comfortable with them in the fenced in area. I have one dog with pretty poor recall/does her own thing so she was always safe. We can’t wait to come back some time!

Wow! What an amazing spot! Dog dreamland. Beautiful property. Has it all! Fields, woods, agility, perfectly groomed trails, secure fence. We had a wonderful time. My dogs loved seeing the chicken, ducks, goats and a pig. We will definitely be back

We had a great time at The Farm! Definitely do a thorough tick check before you head home (especially if you meander in the woods during tick season ;)). Overall extremely pleased with how secure and well maintained the space was! Felt very comfortable letting my dog roam freely.

Wonderful space! The mowed paths were set in lots of different patterns, with circles, curved paths, and straightaways. Loved the agility section, seating, farm animals, forest, and covered area as well!

Still our all time favorite Sniffspot and we have been to several in many different states. I highly recommend booking for more than 1 hour. The place is huge and the fencing is secure. The paths are well groomed which makes it extra nice for the humans, too. Host is a great communicator!

Wow, what an incredible spot. Pearl and Tito had a blast. The property is really big but secure. I was so happy to have a place where I could let my dogs really get a good run, I forgot how beautiful it is to see Tito really pour on the juice. We will be back!

Great trails and options for dogs and humans. You will want to book for longer than 1 hour because there is some agility equipment, trails, woods, and tall grasses. The dogs can sniff and explore for hours. Easy to fine and not far off of the highway (23) for people passing through the area.

This was a wonderful spot! The only thing I wish I had known going in is that there is an initial enclosed area that seems about 2-3 acres. Then there is a gate to another area. The second area is so large that you can only see the fence right there along the left, so I wasn't positive that the entire area was fenced. Reading again more closely, I see that everything is fenced! I'm excited to go back and check out the entire area.

Great off leash hike time with dog friends. The little overhead shelter was perfect for a break from the snow. The agility field was a fun start before just plain old running around sniffing all the stuff.

Cute, clean and safe with plenty of unobstructed room to chase balls and play. I have a large dog, a small dog would also enjoy this spot close to Ann Arbor. The view of the lake was a treat. Thank you Sarah for sharing your backyard with us.

Nice long yard so my dogs could really get up to their full running speed. Lovely to watch the geese on the lake. The host was extremely responsive when we had a question.

We really enjoyed our time. There were lots of things to sniff and tons of room to run. The yard is deceptively long, the dogs got to frolick to their hearts content. The fence was secure and fresh water was provided (although the dogs were more inclined to simply eat snow). Due to the snow, Sarah cleared a spot in the driveway for us so we'd be out of the way of the snow plows. The back of the house opens into the yard, but we were given plenty of privacy during our stay, perfect for our reactive pups. They really enjoyed themselves. We underpreparred one of the pups for the snow and had to cut our visit short, but Sarah was great about checking in through Sniff Spot to make sure we were okay and didn't need anything. We will be back!
