55Nice medium back yard with covered seating area and multiple surfaces types. Nicely fenced. We definitely visit again. Do note that you can hear the neighbors dogs barking from the yard behind. My dog isn’t reactive so it was not an issue.
45Nice backyard for small / medium-small doggies. Just remember to bring toys! There was a water bowl and trash bin :)
45This is my first time visiting - the yard is in loosely a triangle shape. The fence is solid wood, there's not much of a gap at the bottom of the fence, it's tall, and you can't see easily through it. There's a small area on the side of the house that you can't easily see what your dog's up to, but it's a small space - you can just get up and take a look if need be. The owner communicated quickly & the yard was clean. There's no hose to refill water but she did leave out a full dog bowl of water for us - I'd suggest bringing more water if you're visiting on a hot day though. Owner kindly left the wifi password too. This yard would be great for small/medium dogs, but larger dogs I think wouldn't have enough of room to run. My girl tripped over the planters a few times while running after a ball, but she's a ball obsessed goofball.
55Lovely backyard space! Our pups do nose work and we were able to practice their skills in various areas of the backyard. Ensure you bring water to fill the water bowl available for use.
55Lovely backyard for our two Bernese to get their wiggles out. Will book again :)
45Nice place to spend a sunny day. My only concern was a gap below the cedar fencing on the side of the house around the corner from the patio. My Boston could almost fit his head underneath.
55Phoenix had a wonderful time chasing a ball in the backyard. Lots of fun.
55Wonderful space to work on training or just chill and enjoy the outdoors.
55Very clean and nice!
45Neighbors dogs were out most of the time. If your dogs are reactive to barking, I wouldn’t recommend.

I do not have a dog but my neighbors do. With the wooden fence they would not be able to see each other.

Super quiet neighborhood. I may be inside with my roommate. There is a field behind my house where people and pets may walk past.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs πŸͺ΅, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun β˜€οΈ, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
