55 This was our first sniff spot and we loved it!
55My pup and I had great time! beautiful property
55They have a new swing set! Kids loved it!
55Nice spot - ideal for my dogs to explore.
55Golden Lixs dog park was a lovely treat. The directions were fine. I also like having signs that showed no entry and also markers for the trails. Beautiful yard with wonderful views. The pups had a grand time sniffing everything. The west trail was a favorite of my pups because they love being off trail and in the bushes. It is steep, so if your recall isn’t good, don’t go on that side. The east trail has nice new steps on the trail down the hill. Theres a nice level spot on the top to have a seat and throw a ball as well.
55very spacious alot of place for dogs to run around and new area to sniff
55This spot was great! Nice and secluded and great views. It does border some hiking trails on one side, so be aware of that if human voices will set your reactive pup off. It's large enough that you can also stay on the other side where you don't hear folks as much. Also make sure your dog has good recall if you're letting them off leash here as they can go barrelling down the steep hill easily. Jayeeta was a great host and super communicative!
55Our pups loved the sniffs and scenic views!
55It is a beautiful area with great views and lots of places for a dog(s) to explore and sniff around. It's also easy to find and directions for the property were clear. I would book it again.
55Was exactly as described. Very nice. Around for a few minutes and then sitting and looking through the trees at the bay. My dog enjoyed all the sniffing and up and downs.

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside (Update: 7 stairs added)

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!
