55Great yard with lots of places for sniffing!
55Blaze had so much fun!
55Great space for my pup! Loved all the toys and treats! We’ll be back :)
55Great yard!! My dogs had the best time, thank you!!!
55Thank you for opening up your space to us. The tall grasses were great for working on some recall with my puppy. Nice and quiet neighborhood, not a lot of stimulating noises around. Hosts were very kind and left a welcome note and some bug spray! Thank you.
55Awesome place for all kinds of sniffs!! My dogs had a blast
55Great spot, lots of space and nooks to explore, really nice hosts! My dogs had a blast, we'd happily visit again
55What a splendid place to take the pups! They had so much fun chasing the ball and subsequently rolling in the grass..! A beautiful half prairie half grass spot.
55Always lovely. Welcoming and inviting. The space is always clean and prepared before we arrive. Great people.
55My dog really enjoyed all of the different things he could sniff, especially the wooded areas. The plenty of places to sit were an added bonus. Very nice, well-cared for spot.

Sometimes

Our dog will not be visible but may get curious and try to peek through the curtains to look out the sliding glass door. .😊 Behind a tall Privacy fence there are a couple weiner dogs that bark non-stop while they are outdoors. Typically they are only out for a few minutes at a time. Neighbors on one side have a small mellow elderly curly black dog named Champ. He is outside just briefly but curious enough to approach the fence to sniff new dogs

Our cat Stanley likes sleeping on the deck or lurking about. He is very interested in dogs. We try to bring him in before visits. He is often sleeping in a chair in front of the garage.

Description

Quiet street in pleasant neighborhood just off 694 and Silver Lake Road. Fully fenced and easy access from the street. Relax near the "dog" pool while your dog explores the yard for new and interesting smells. Mostly open yard with a path through a woodsy pollinator area in back. One or 2 Kiddie pools and hose available in summer, plus a tiny inground pond for cooling off. What the yard lacks in a aesthetics it makes up for in smells. Rabbits live in the brush pile beyond the tall grass. Lots of bones can be found everywhere 🦴🦴 and are free for the taking. Big barrel of well loved toys and balls available as well. Garden with cherry tomatoes to pick when available.

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There is a deck dogs can easily get under, difficult for people to access. Our dogs have dug holes under there for laying in to cool off. The tall grass may contain thistles, nettles and/or stickweed. We do our best to tackle the unsavory weeds weekly.

Extras

Cheese Treat Hunt$3

We always have cheese, typically the low sodium, low fat cheese. We can scatter a dozen pieces of cheese around the yard for the best sniffers to find.

Coffee$3

Brett makes a wonderful medium roast Central American cup of coffee. Let us know if you want it hot or iced and we'll have it ready

No poo pick-up$3

Leave the clean-up for us!

GRAND OPENING Saturday April 13th $5.00 per hr (1/2 hr minimum charge) 50% off first visit Curbside or off street parking A nice shady 0.25 acre corner lot. Entry gate off the driveway A completely wood and cyclone fenced area. Off leash, privacy, play time for you, you/family, and of course, your beloved dog(s) Squirrels and rabbits pass through the dog park. My miniature little brown poodle, Morty Wonka, once captured a fast hare rabbit in the side yard park that was bigger than himself., because of this Elvis Presley became his friend, and Morty was no longer a “Hound Dog” For warm or hot sunny days, the Red Maple Tree in the play area will provide you with instant shade, and it is the perfect spot to place a chair(s) where you can throw optional numerous rubber ball toys to your dog(s) to play fetch & retrieve. Perhaps your dog(s) would like to take a run thru the 15 ft nylon agility tube, the adjustable garden hose nozzle will provide you the option to relieve yourself(s) and dog(s) with a cold refreshing mist, including sanitized stainless steel water dish(es) at your disposal, For clean up, towels, hand sanitizer & plastic small poop bags are at your disposal with a trash can to get rid of anything undesirable. It would make me very happy to know your dog(s) are enjoying the converted side yard private dog park, as my beloved dogs did, especially my white standard poodle Buddy, who the dog park is named after. He loved to crouch down by the pine trees and the very tall 20-30 ft high arborvitaes that line the west wood fence, as he waited for me to throw a rubber ball to him, that he would eagerly return to me. A canine, human experience, that will make you and your dog(s) want to return for more. Questions?
