55This place is perfect for any size pooch tp play. Its cozy and can see all areas to keep eye on dog at play. Its in a great location. Seemed quiet and safe. Will definetely Reccommend & return. Thank you.
15i love how close this yard is to where we live and also we can see where our dog is pretty much at all times because it's not too large, but also there's plenty of space to run around. that said, we've run into many issues with it. most recently, the yard was full of horse chestnuts and i had to find something to pick them up with so my dog wouldn't run through them and get them stuck to her paws. last year, someone had thrown a bunch of burnt banana bread into the yard and our previous foster dog found it before we had and ate a bunch of it and had diarrhea for days afterward. it's just such an extreme lack of care and state of neglect. a quick pass through the yard in the morning would make these issues immediately evident. i won't be coming back just for the sake of convenience. my time is valuable and i shouldn't be going to a space that i've paid for and doing labor to ensure it's safe for my dog
55Great spot! Easy entrance, well maintained. The dogs had a great time
55My lil boys love this yard! It’s the perfect size and easy to keep an eye on both!
55This is the perfect yard for my little dogs. They get so excited about coming here and I don't have to worry that they'll get out. We just love it here.
55Fencing was secure enough for my dog, a couple balls to play with, and easy to find house, right off i84!
55Very nice morning with my boys! Clean, safe, private and shady. Thank you! 🐾
55Nice spot and enough space for the pups to run around and play
55Our little pup had a great time sniffing and zooming around this yard. The chairs and other seating were a great resource to have so we could relax while she explored. The water bowl was not clean when we arrived, but that was more of an our bad for not checking and refreshing with the hose before our dog drank from it.
55My dogs just love this place. It's my go to Sniff Spot.

we don’t have dogs, nor do our neighbors, but there are dogs around the neighborhood that can sometimes be heard. we value the safety of all animals and do not use any pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals in the yard. because of that the lawn can vary from long and thriving to dead and dusty in the summer. while some months are prettier, the dogs seem to enjoy all of its stages : )

i have indoor 2 cats but they don’t seem to care about dogs being outside most of the time but sometimes they find a way to sit in the window to look over the yard. if that’s distracting to your pup please let me know ahead of time.

four people live here, and i work from home, so the house is usually occupied. we give as much space as we can but you may see us in a window or the front yard passing through. it’s very rare for us to meet or even see guests, but sometimes schedules change or things happen and all we can do is our best. we do have neighbors on 3 sides, as noted they don’t have pets, but you will see them sometimes too. they usually prefer to keep to themselves.

There is a gate on the side to the right of the driveway that you can use without having to encounter residents. Just make sure the gate is fully closed (clicks into place) so it doesn’t get pushed open by the wind. Some guests have messaged me their personal preferences before coming to feel more secure. I’m always happy to provide answers and adjustments where I can. If you have specificities let me know before you’re here. If you ask while you are, I will respond as fast as I can but I can’t guarantee I can respond right away when i’m working. If it is available- please change the sign that says “occupied” or “dogs playing keep gate closed” when you arrive and when you leave. Thanks!!

Description

I have a large, mostly unused back yard that has the best energy with a dog running around it. There are a few trees and a firepit, but for the most part it’s a large open yard just waiting to be enjoyed by any age, size or energy level pup! The backyard has the most sun in the afternoons but the yard can be used any time of day or season as there is a pergola and outdoor lights!

Cleanliness

96% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

Other than potential unknown things that could be dug up, there are no major hazards. If your dog is heavily focused on escaping, this might not be the place for you, but as mentioned, we’ve never had any escapes up to now :) I do have 2 trees which produce fruit during the late summer and fall. Apples mostly, though technically one has plums and either prunes or figs, but I haven’t seen many of those in the 3 years I’ve lived here. The apples we do see for a short period of time each year. They are mostly taken by squirrels but we collect survivors, and compost the ones that fall, unfortunately there may be some on the ground despite our efforts. You and you’re dog are welcome to enjoy the fruit, or leave it as is, or compost any that are on the ground for more room to play. If your dog is extremely obsessed with food, know that late August through October are the primary fruit months, 90% of the year there is no fruit. Happy to answer any questions via the messaging app you might have before you book, or while you’re here. Reach out and let me know how I can make your stay the most comfortable.

Hi there! I’m Erica, a part time property manager, and disability advocate. I am currently recovering from shoulder surgery while managing invisible illness so I work from home. You may see me or my housemates or one of the 4 indoor cats if we’re in the kitchen but we try to keep blinds closed and to give you privacy :) Let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

Montana's 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Camas: Closing October 21st for winter.

Closing October 21st for winter. Kiddy pool has a hole in it, so will be unusable until further notice! Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, and if I have to round everything up after you visit, you will be blocked. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, it happens lol, but not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!
