55We had a lovely time- lots of fun areas to explore. Our two pups have good recall so the partial fencing was fine, but do stay alert.
55Beautiful
55Absolutely amazing property!
45It was a little difficult to keep the dogs from going on the other side of the creek. But my dogs had a great time running around!
55Our pup was pent up all day so she was very happy to have a spot to run around. The host is very communicative.
55I am someone who is super last minute when it comes to booking sniffspots. Lucky for me, the owner was very quick to respond to my booking. Within 5 mins of my booking, she let me know that the recent storm have affected the spot, so there may be contractors around today. Other than the sounds of chainsaws (which was a perfect opportunity for working on his noise desensitization), it was a very well kept spot. My pup enjoyed chasing his frisbee, sniffing and we practiced recalls in the space. It was just perfect! The instructions to park was easy to follow, and the entrance was marked clearly. My pup and I will definitely be back!
55Jane loved this one! Lots of flat space to run, plus forested areas to explore. We will be back, thank you!!!!
55Beautiful spot with lots of space! Not fenced but very secluded and felt very safe here with my reactive dog. Will definitely come back! Would be great if there was a rubbish bin somewhere on the property
55Nyxie has a wonderful time exploring this Sniffspot. It's a perfect place to go on a sunny day as the property offers sun and shade depending what you are looking for. Nyxie is looking forward to returning!
55The area is secluded and welcoming. A long green field and fallen trees that make a good seat. A really nice piece of land to run your dog just outside the city.

I have lived here for 45 years and take much pride in my home and property. My grandmother built the house in the late 50's and it and the property are now owned by me. Thank you for helping me afford it! lol

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. We have recently put down wood chips along trails and in muddy areas which help a lot! Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter for about 4-5 hrs after it gets dark outside. Thank you!
