Description

I recently inherited my families off grid mountain property. I am excited about this opportunity. I have a farm with all sorts of animals. I was saddened to see my families tenants had mistreated the land, so it is a work in progress. As time goes on, more will be cleaned and organized.

Hazards

We unfortunately had to evict tenants who were compulsory hoarders. We are diligently working to restore the land. We hope you see our vision and the beauty that's here. It's a work in progress halted by covid-19 shutdown.

We are an off grid, rural mountain home. We are a work in progress. If you have ever seen Deliverance and got terrified, this is probably not the place for you. We have no cell service, my neighbors all grow weed, gun shots are common, and I usually have a gun on me as well. I grow fruit trees, bees, and so on. My rule is basic - Respect the earth and my farm. Pick up all your trash. Come prepared. Treat the animals with a kind yet firm leadership tone. Treat others how you would like to be treated. No drugs. No drinking. No smoking. Have gas in car, and supplies on hand. Water and food are a must. We are 1.5 miles off the main road.

Private 2 Acre Forest Swimming Hole In Rural Woodside (Update: 7 stairs added)

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a waterfall downstream or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!

Private property with fully fenced 5 acres in the Santa Cruz mountains. The property features a private hiking trail loop, bench to relax and enjoy the view, access to fresh water. Enjoy bird watching. See wild turkey and deer. Some people think the large pine cones are cool! You are welcome to take some

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
