55We had so much fun! Your space is awesome- thank you!
55Such a lovely place! 100% fenced, clean, safe, parking right next to gate, and the grass was so soft for plenty of rolling in. Definitely big enough for chuck-it’s. Highly recommend!
55Thank you. We all love your spacious green yard ♥️
55Absolutely wonderful experience! Beautiful property with tons of open space, super clean, fresh water, and our two doggos loved it! We'll definitely be back!
55Lots of space to run! My dogs had loads of fun!
55Great secure set up with everything needed for great puppy playtime. We appreciate the access to fresh water and the shade from the trees.
55This Sniff Spot was great!! My dogs Jedi and Obi-Wan found interest in their new best thing FETCH!! They had a blast!! I was dog sitting Daisy the little black lab pup and it was so great that she was able to be off leash and explore around the property. I also loved seeing the donkeys chickens and goats next door so adorable. The yard is very secure. We will definitely be going back again soon.
55Beautiful spot! Lots of space for my big German Shepherd to run & play!
55Our pup, Roxy Jo, had a great time! There are plenty of areas to explore, sniff and great shade for a hot morning. Property is clean and enjoyable. We will be back!
55Beautiful property! Lots of room to play fetch with our dog. Big trees give lots of shade. There was water available and a water bowl too.

As noted, the neighbors to the left of the gate have a dog that occasionally will bark and rush up to the wood fence and peek over. It can startle you though because it's very quiet here. We ignore him. Please do the same. You can bring your dog(s) in on leash into the larger part of the yard before letting them off leash to avoid interaction. As long as your dog doesn't pick fights, there is never an issue. We have lots of doggy play dates here without problems :)

Description

Welcome to our little slice of country, close in! We hope you and your fur kids enjoy the space as much as we and ours do. While we do our very best to leave things clean and tidy and pick up our own 'poops', please forgive us if we miss any. It's a really BIG space and we live here :) All fencing is 4ft. If your dog can jump a 4ft fence, this is not a good fit. The neighbors to the left have two dogs that bark on occasion and one will jump up on the fence, bark and peek over. It can startle you, but he can't jump over. We just ignore him and he goes about his business. If your dog is reactive or will pick a fight t the wood fence this may not be a good fit. Otherwise, just enjoy the huge yard because that small section of the fence is easily avoided. There are 2 chairs, a small table, electrical outlet and a hose at the outbuilding. Please keep ALL gates closed. You will have the property to yourself. Enjoy! P.S. There is a garbage and recycle can near the gate available for your use, and poop bags on one of the big fir trees.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
