Description
Hillsdale Park OLA Rules of Use • Dogs must demonstrate appropriate social interaction. • Dogs displaying aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs must be leashed and removed from the OLA immediately. • Owners and handlers must accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog. • Dogs must display tags showing proof of current license and rabies vaccination. • Bring no more than three dogs to the OLA at any time. • Owners and handlers must remain in the OLA to supervise pets, and keep them within view and under verbal control at all times. • To prevent injury, remove pinch or choke collars when playing off-leash. • For health and safety reasons, do not bring a dog in heat to a Portland park. • For health and safety reasons, do not bring a puppy without a complete cycle of vaccinations to a Portland park. • Children must be closely supervised. • Be considerate of park neighbors by playing quietly with dogs in the early morning and evening hours. • Comply with all other park rules.

We are a private, appointment-only pasture space available exclusively through Sniffspot. This is a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is only partially fenced and bordered by Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Farm Equipment: Farm equipment may be present on the property. Please stay off all equipment. Booking & Access: Access is limited to your booked time only. No early arrivals or extended stays. Creek Access: Abernathy Creek runs along part of the property and may be accessible to dogs throughout the pasture. Please note: • Creek banks may be steep or uneven • Owner access to the creek may be limited in certain areas • Water depth and flow vary depending on season and rainfall Creek access is generally easier for dogs; human access may be difficult. If your dog is likely to enter the water, they should have reliable recall and be comfortable navigating natural terrain. Owners must supervise their dogs near the creek at all times. Health & Safety Reminder: Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations. By booking, guests acknowledge that this is a working rural property with natural outdoor conditions and accept responsibility for their dogs and themselves.

We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The Sniffspot is a 2 acre pasture with a fenced seasonal pond in the middle. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged), and separate from the house. Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain traffic can be challenging!

Fully fenced yard with short grass. Includes a fire pit and is very well lit at night. Great for a date night with the pups or hang by the fire with a couple friends. BYO fire wood. If you plan on having a fire, we recommend a 2 hour visit! Use hose to completely extinguish fire before you leave. Note to our guests regarding pricing: the cost per dog per hour will occasionally fluctuate depending on multiple factors like weather, how busy we we are, and the state of the grass. For example, In order to give the grass some time to recover we may increase the price to reduce foot traffic. These fluctuations are necessary to maintain a healthy and clean yard.
