We are committed to showing compassion to neglected and abandoned animals in Rural Texas. Through our public outreach efforts, we hope to address animal welfare issues and the overpopulation of pets in our communities.
Adoption Policy
Adoption process for dogs
1. Before meeting our pets, we ask that you fill out a dog application form linked here.
2. Check your inbox/spam for instructions to complete your application. We require photos of your backyard sent to our email at adoptions@kingdomrescue.org
3. The questions on the adoption application helps us understand your needs and desires in a pet. We ask questions about your living situation, pet history, veterinarian, current pets, the type of pet you are looking for, and the way in which it will be cared for. Every pet is different and it's extremely important to us that we find the best match for you and for the dogs in our care. Please fill out the application in its entirety to be considered for a pet.
4. If we approve of your application and have no further questions, we will contact you to schedule an interview with our adoption counselor. Adoptions are not approved until an adoption contract is signed.
5. If you are approved to adopt, we will schedule a time for you to pick up your new pet!
Adoption fee and what does it cover
Puppies are $250
Dogs are $200
All of our adults dogs are spayed/neutered, rabies vaccinated, DHPP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and on flea/tick prevention. The adoption fee covers the cost of all of these expenses incurred by our veterinary expenses.
If a puppy is available for adoption and not spayed/neutered, we require a $50 refundable deposit to ensure the pet gets spayed/neutered at the appropriate age. We also encourage foster-to-adopt until the pet is old enough for sterilization surgery!

Get your dog the safe enrichment they need by renting a Sniffspot

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development.
David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners.
Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature.
David is based in Salem, MA.
