UnbreakaBULL is a progressive, passionate group of volunteer rescuers who strive to show the public the inherent good within bully-breed dogs and have been working to do this since September 2018. Our Executive Director, Sara, has been deeply involved in local rescue for over 10-years. She holds invaluable experience in pit bull rehabilitation, and when coupled with her unwavering fervor to save them all, this has made her an irreplaceable force within the MN rescue community. Our mission is simple: we collaborate as a team and work tirelessly to reduce the amount of pit bull-type dogs facing unnecessary euthanasia in local Minnesota shelters. Pit Bulls are resilient, inherently good, and unconditionally loving - essentially, they are unbreakabull.
We are 100% donation and volunteer run, so we rely on the kindness and support of the community to do what we do. We are forever grateful for our fosters, volunteers, and rescue supporters who have stuck with us during this important and necessary evolution. Together we are #unbreakabull
Mission and Vision
UnbreakaBULL Pit Bull Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer-based bully breed dog rescue serving the Twin Cities, Metro area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in local public shelters, focusing on the ones with euthanasia dates, and the ones that have been there far too long and dogs that are in danger of abuse or neglect. Our goals include one day being able to create a medical fund for dogs with large medical expenses which would allow us to say yes to those dogs when in need and provide the very best veterinary care possible. We would also love to create a hospice program for senior dogs to live out their final days in a home.
We take great care to ensure that our dogs are placed in loving, responsible, and committed foster homes until our very thorough adoption process is complete. The adoption process includes a background check, veterinary reference check, personal reference check, and a home check. We are not only looking to get dogs adopted, but we are fully committed to finding good matches for our dogs so they are set up for success. We will always educate prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a bully breed dog into their homes and lives.
Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate vaccinations, are micro-chipped, and provided with monthly preventatives.
We are all volunteers, so our administrative expenses are extremely low and virtually every dollar taken in goes directly to the care of our animals. Our team also remains committed to the welfare of our dogs beyond adoption. We will always be a support system for adopters, and we will always take a dog back if an adopter is unable to care for them any longer.
Finally, we strive to build good, solid relationships with our local shelters and other rescue organizations so that we can all work together to help save these deserving dogs. We have an amazing network of supporters and volunteers that also want to create a better world for homeless pets. Together we are .UnbreakaBULL.

David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot.
