55My dog Tobi and I had a great time at this Sniffspot! Definitely a place where a dog can just be a dog. There was tall grass to run through, plenty of areas to sniff for small creatures, an overgrown forest area to explore, and shady spots to rest in. I walked the part of the perimeter that I could and didn't see any places where my dog could get through. There were some parts where I couldn't see the perimeter fence because of blackberries, but given what others have said, I have no reason to believe that there were major gaps. We will be coming back! Alexa T.

55Worth the price! My dogs get tired in the first 10 minutes and spend the rest of their time sniffing. There’s plenty of things for them to explore and the long grass is a plus! Malia C.

55My dog had a great time as always! It had been very rainy prior to our visit so we got pretty muddy (my dog likes the mud puddles) so I would recommend bringing some towels and/or seat covers for your car. This spot is our favorite Sniffspot in the area! Thanks again!Khalsa J.

55This was a great location with both open space to run and wrestle as well as a fun trail to explore. With all of the rain it was muddy and a bit slippery so wear boots and tread carefully! My girls loved getting muddy and exhausted.Cecily J.

55Great space! My two pitties had so much fun running and sniffing. Good mix of open area and forest. Some parts were really muddy, but not a problem if you wear the right shoes. We’ll be back. Kate J.

55Our reactive foster pup had so much fun. The smiles are all we were hoping to achieve, but we got so much more. We look forward to bringing her back as well as our other pup. Lots to explore and plenty of nose work space. It was clean, easy to find and access. Great communication from host. Courtney C.

55We really liked this private dog park. It was very private and yet easy to find, using Maps. Rubber boots are highly recommended during the rainy season. Toys were available and a bit damp. Tennis balls sometimes soak up water. We didn't take any photos. The site pictures are accurate. Please book a time and enjoy this park, it's well worth an hour. Jessie B.

55Me & my pup Sebastian and my former foster pup, Callum (who basically look like twins!) was back with us for a weekend sleepover and we all had an absolute blast at this sniffspot! (Make sure to wear some taller weatherproof boots and some towels for the pups if it’s rained recently!) Both of the pups loved running around the huge property, climbing up to the treehouse lookout, exploring the little wooded section behind the treehouse and playing tug-of-war with the provided rope toy! Muddy paws and extra happy pups! Pictures don’t do the fun justice! (Wish there was a feature to upload videos!- so enjoy the funny looking screenshots of some videos!) They both slept so good that night! Will definitely return! 🐾Kylie T.

FAQ about our Algona dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Algona area range from $4.0 and $4.0. The least expensive dog field is Unleash and chase some bunny tail!. The most expensive dog field is Unleash and chase some bunny tail!. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
