A large pasture with fencing around everywhere. Bring a towel and enjoy! Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! We just added a new 10x16 Covered Gazebo! We hope you like it! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. I hope you have a fun and restful visit!

#3 Fun field for a furry frenzy 3- Field of Dreams in Fletcher

1/27 As the ground thaws this site will have some muddy spots. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

WE ARE OPEN post-Helene! The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. The neighbors have a dog in their fenced yard but they're usually good about bringing him in if someone is in the sniff spot. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) Please have fun with the dog toys - if your dog tears one up just toss out the stuffing or pieces. That's just what dogs do!

Another fabulous sniff spot! Secure fencing, lots room to run. I was a bit worried about what the fencing would be like at the stream, but it was good! My dog loved it here. The area in the middle is mostly level, on the sides there are some areas that are slightly uphill or downhill, so sometimes my dog was out of sight while downhill or in the wooded areas. Mostly I could see her all the time though, which surprised me in an area this big. There’s also a structure there that could be used in case of pouring rain. Beautiful area with a stream, a gem for sure.

Thank you for fixing the fences so quick!!! We frequented Canton park and it unfortunately suffered in the hurricane. It was nice to have somewhere safe for my dog to run as an alternative.

I have been meaning to post a more public comment the last few times I have brought my dogs to our favorite sniffspot, but life has gotten in the way. I just want to say thank you so much to Elizabeth for giving my doggos a safe, enjoyable space to get their zoomies out the last few weeks. We count ourselves lucky because the giant trees that came down during the storm only took out our fence and not our house. But, our doggos lost their freedom to be off leash in the yard until the trees are removed and the fence is fixed. Which means they lost their freedom to wrestle, zoomie, and sniff at their leisure. Despite walks, they get bored fast! Even though she has also faced damages post Helene, Elizabeth made sure that there were still places that WNC dogs could safely play and get their energy out. Thank you so much for that! 💜 🐾

We visit every time we are in the area and there is always a new improvement. We have so much fun running around, hiking up the hill, and playing in the creek. It truly is a gem! There are always a ton of toys and we get so many great ideas on fun new toys to buy our dogs, too! A tree fell down during the storm and our dogs now love it as an extra agility element. We love this SniffSpot and will be back!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful space that is very well kept. It is a secure spot and I had no worry about my dog getting out of the fence. Loved that there were toys scattered around the property and so many smells that my GSD mix loved. I will definitely be coming back with my pup!

So much fun! Heidi went nuts over the hearding ball (obsessively). The property is clean and free of dog poop and it was a lot easier to find than I thought. It was a little confusing to get there because the spot was CLEARLY marked (we drove past it 🤦‍♀️) but the gps took us to the top of the mountain. We'll be trying to come back weekly. It's a great, secure place for our furry kiddo to burn off her energy.

We love this spot! There's so much room for our dog, Wyatt, to roam, plus he loves the creek. Another plus is that there's very little traffic or noise from other animals or people. We'll be back.
