Our privacy fencing and large yard allows you and your dog to have a safe place away from unfamiliar people / other dogs*. It's great for getting your dog some different sniffs and letting them off leash for a game of fetch! *Our neighbor does have a dog who may be outside during your visit. The neighbor's dog is friendly and absolutely cannot get into our yard. Your dog will be 100% safe, but please know that if the neighbor's dog is outside during your visit, she may try to stick a little bit of her snout underneath any of the small openings along the fence line.

There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family my be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.

One section of the fence is only 3 feet high, so it may not work if your dog is a jumper. My neighbor has horses that may be in a nearby pasture. There are also dogs that live next-door. If you are coming, I will keep my dogs in the house. They will probably not even know you are out there. There is one spot that can get muddy depending on the weather. The rest of the yard is grass and a small area of bushes and other vegetation. There is also a rocky area under my deck. During the warmer months, there will be a picnic table and chairs. Please bring bags and pick up after your dog. There is a trash bucket out there. I will also have a water bowl out there during the warmer months. There is a gate if you need to block off the stairs to the deck. It is next to the shed under the deck. This was a fantastic place for my fearful dog to explore and run around off leash. The yard is quite large, well kept, and fully fenced in. While there we did not see or hear any dogs that may have been in the house, which was a huge bonus for my dog who is afraid of dogs. The home owner was very communicative before our visit and the directions to the yard were very clear, making the whole process simple.

This was my first time using a Sniffspot and I could not have asked for a better experience. I have a high drive dog that needs more space than my yard can provide. This was beautiful and had everything I could ask for. There were chairs in multiple locations. I brought my own poop bags but there were more available and trash to dispose of them. Melodie had 2 kiddie pools set up. There are some large boulders that my dog loved jumping up onto. There were chuck it balls and the handle to throw them. There's a sandpit to play in as well. The fence looked very secure. My dog enjoyed it so much we even extended the time to 2 hours. I plan to come to this spot on a regular basis.

We visited Bear Brook on 10/2. This was our first time at a snifspot location and my dogs and I had a great time! The space is awesome, large, very clean, excellent fencing, and well laid out. There are lots of places to sit and even a little play area if you have kids. After walking the perimeter with my dogs when we first arrived it was so nice to be able to relax and watch then play and explore without the stress of monitoring interactions with other dogs. My dogs are "greeters" and a trip to the dog park means constantly watching the gate for arrivals in order to catch the boys and restrain them so they don't overwhelm the dogs and their coming in. We'll definitely be back and are planning on making this a weekly visit.

We had three dogs in at the same time and they had so much stimulation with all the cool spots to explore and sniff, as well as ample room to run far to retrieve balls. The entire space is very well thought-out and there are plenty of things to do with your doggos. Very clean and safe. The owner is super friendly. Highly recommended.

We visited on 10/2, and this was the first time I’ve ever gone to a SniffSpot place. This place was fantastic! I have a reactive dog, so finding places where he can romp around safely and not having to worry about other dogs or people showing up is extremely difficult. We brought his friend Maddy with us too so she could get all of her energy out and have a fun time. This space is very clean and has lots of seating and a lot of places in the shade as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be making this a regular stop for my boy so he can safely have fun outside! Thanks for creating such an awesome space!

A bit confused on where to go when I first showed up, but I text the host and she promptly came outside and guided me towards the back where we could park and enter the yard. She was super nice and made us feel welcome. Huge back yard with some agility poles, chuckit's, and plenty of seating. Great space to romp and my pup was pooped soon after we got there. Highly recommend!

Doggie Mecca!! Finally a solution for the dogs that can’t do the dog park thing! And, Way better one at that! Melodie’s space is an 11/10… huge, with so many activities for abs space for running! Very clean too! We will be back! For sure! My dogs got home and passed out instantly! And melodie is so nice!! Such a great experience!

This place was amazing ! I brought my two dogs and my son who is 10 months old . The yard had a nice porch swing and a baby swing which my son loved. There’s even a play area with sand for kids. The yard was massive . It was quiet and peaceful . My dogs absolutely loved it . They were in doggy paradise. The yard was really clean and well kept. The yard was completely secure no chance of my dogs escaping. I will definitely be returning . Thank you so much Melodie.
