We ask that you clean up after yourself and your pup, there is a trash can at the barn, along with a pooper scooper and baggies. We do have farm animals in enclosed areas, they are friendly and enjoy visitors but please make sure your dogs are well behaved with them! We have fields for playing ball and frisbee or any type of training you are working on. Head to the woods for trails and exciting adventures! Be prepared, you may see lots of wildlife including deer, squirrels, turtles, turkeys,woodpeckers and owls! Please have fun “hunting” for turtles, geodes, deer sheds and morels— but do not pick or collect them. Please leave these finds on the farm! Poop bags and trash cans available near the parking area. Note the pink flags to lead you to the woods, and for property markers- stay inside the property please- you won’t have any trouble with this with so much room to explore. It is hilly and can get steep so only go where you feel comfortable! Wear old shoes if headed to the woods! Have fun!! A gal and her dogs' dream spot! This place has it all. We were here 2 hours and could've easily stayed 1-2 more. We only explored the one side of the property with trails and the creek- situated right behind the basketball hoop. Creek had a few areas deep enough for my 2 big guys to wade chest deep and they loved it. I'm honestly not sure who had more fun exploring the paths - them or me! We had full intentions of using the pond too but played too long in the creek and area to even have time to go over to that side of the property!! We will be back for sure for the boys to take a dip in the pond! I would say to note that off the gravel/dirt road there is a flat bridge over the creek made of slats and wide gaps. There is a narrower path of metal plates fixed on the one side to walk across. My one younger dog was up ahead some and went part way across before I could see entirely. He went off the metal plates and slipped a back leg between the slats. He was ok but thought it would be good to know it's there for others with dogs not as large.

I took my dog here to stretch out and run while we were traveling through. He had a great time exploring in the woods and creek. As noted in the description, it is entirely unfenced, so having a solid recall is important (a neighbor's driveway also goes through one side). We did several loops through the woods and headed out after 45 minutes.

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
