Welcome to our “back 40,” featuring an evergreen alcove, a small wooded walking path, lots of room to run, and tons of sticks to play with. For the humans we have a picnic table and chairs for relaxation. The bungee cords on the gate are to help secure it, feel free to use them if you feel the need. NOTE: Please bring your own water, as we don’t have a water spigot out back. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Overall Site Description - Two separate (side-by-side) fully enclosed softball fields that also serve as a semi-private exercise park for dogs. The grassy outfield and secure fencing provide plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while owners can enjoy the open surroundings. With no permanent shade structures, visitors often bring their own chairs or canopies. To maintain the looking clean fields, please pick up dog waste, children play here too. Thank you!

Come let your doggies get their zoomies out in our backyard! Tons of open space for them to run and be free. Fully fenced in, well maintained yard. We have 1 dog she is a 13 year old boxer mix named Leia. She will be kept inside during all bookings. There is a good chance some of her poo piles will be in the yard but we will do our best to pick up before you arrive. We do have two little kids so there are toys around including a play set and trampoline. There is a poop rake and shovel in the back with a poop pail so you don't have to take your doggie poo with you if you don't have a baggie. Our home is the first cul-de-sac in the woodpointe subdivision right off west road. Directly across the street from south point square apartments.

Activities: Walk, run, off road bike, yoga, cross skiing, snowshoe, agility, herding (bring your own sheep ), search, Frisbee, scent work, etc. Wildlife: Deer, many birds- hawks, vultures, turkeys, various song birds, rabbits, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels. Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Be safe! ***There is a heated bucket for winter. After freeze temperatures begin, there won’t be a hose available.
