This is a great spot! The location is convenient and Sarah’s backyard is so cute. Lots of space for the dogs to run and explore, and the chickens are adorable! Sarah was communicative and kindly shovelled a path for us to the yard since we got a big dump of snow. We’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous SniffSpot in every way. Large, fenced, flat garden area with lots of room for the dogs to run and play safely. Seriously clean. Toys. Nice place to sit and look at the incredible view. Stellar sniffspot.

It is my first time renting a private spot for my dogs, as well as first time exploring BC area (by car). Jas is prompt with messages and responding back; the pictures posted is exactly what it is... spacious and open (for several dogs). I overstayed my booking by 30 mins as my husband was returning back to the spot with our vehicle - Jas was patient and understanding. (I offered to pay the additional fee via cash for my overstay but was declined.) I highly recommend Jas's backyard - easy to find location, clean, and overall my dogs enjoyed the space! (As I am writing this review, they're all sleeping peacefully and tired out) Thank you Jas!

Beautiful spot! Love the view of the field and mount Baker. Theres a picnic table in the shade for hot afternoons. Great flat ground to run on. Just watch the sky for birds of prey if you have a small dog!

"It was an amazing little place to take my reactive dog. The area is fenced and about the size of a regular dog park (or backyard), but with the peace of no other dogs around and nice views of farms. The area was very clean, easy to access, and the host was very kind, efficient, and had great communication.

What a great spot! Quiet and secluded. Tall fencing ( I'm 5 ft 9 and it was taller than me) which is wood framed with chicken wire style panels. It is about the size of a backyard. Which is perfect for what we needed - just somewhere safe & secure for the dogs to run, sniff and enjoy off leash time with no dogs, people or other distractions. With a young fearful dog who loves to run it can be hard to find outlets for her to be off leash. Balancing that with a senior who has spurts of energy but ultimately likes to sniff uninterrupted. The spot is clean & has a chair to sit. Water for the dogs and a garbage can for waste - they even provide bags. Brittany was prompt in her response to my message. Providing clear instructions for where to park and how to enter the spot. This will definitely be a regular spot for us!

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
