We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

This hike is not for everyone as it climbs 200 feet in about 1/4 mile. They can sniff, do their business, and get out their zoomies, all while you can sit on the swing and watch or you can engage and play with them. Relatively quiet neighborhood, rocks are edging the fence, so there is little/no space between the fence and the ground, besides that near the drive gate. This makes our yard secure, even for the tiniest of pups with jello-like attributes. Please do not touch or allow children or other guests and dogs to mess with the planters over the cold months. They are old, and we will be trying to clear them out for you. **Please note that as of December 2024, we officially have new neighbors who also have dogs. The fence we have is vinyl, and they will not see each other, but it has been brought to our attention that our neighbors have barky dogs, which can be disruptive. They are not out very often, so our hope is that your visit will still be very enjoyable.

*Due to the rain and weather the spot os pretty muddy* Are you looking for a nice place to let your furry friend run around and you get some steps in too, well then you are in the right spot. We have an acre fenced that we want dogs to come and enjoy a good run or a fun place to play ball. There is a shelter to stand under if needed with two chairs that can be moved as needed. Most of the area is flat and there are some trees is the back of the property with longer grass. You do have to walk up a little hill to get to the flat part but it is not bad. There is a parking area right outside the man-gate where you enter with a parking sign. We have put a chuck it with balls and a frisbee under the bench lid for you to use as well as weave poles and an adjustable jump for the pups to try out. Everything you need as far as water, water bowl and toys are all under the bench lid by the big tree. *Updated hours: more availability at night but know the mosquitos are bad when the sun goes down so please wear bug spray or use the bug spray provided. *With spring and summer coming more people are out so there may be noise while at the spot, we do have neighbors with kids and dogs. Google Maps will get you lost so once booked I will send directions directly via chat.

We had another great visit to Dayspring Farm! Be aware that some low-lying, shaded areas did have some mud / puddles, so if you are trying to avoid a bath and your pup is liable to go puddle splashing, you'll need to be careful which pastures you choose to use in the rainy season, but totally not a deal-breaker for us. My two pups had a BALL splashing through the puddles and then rolling in the grass. Gates and fencing are all secure and there's tons of room and different spaces to explore. This is our second visit and each time my pups have enjoyed just taking in all the smells as much as stretching their legs. Appreciate there's a bin for poo bags and water available too. It's a bit of a drive for us from West Seattle, but worth it and we'll be back!

This sniff spot is an amazing working farm with MANY fenced working pastures to run YOUR dog(s) in these pastures ( or the arena area ). The rental includes all the areas listed above for your use , so if you have a dog that is dog reactive you shouldn’t have to worry about other dogs or random people being in the area ( the property owner has dogs but keeps them inside during visits and a caretaker lives up above the property but that is not in the fenced areas ). My dogs are not reactive but love to run and explore new smells and experiences in a safe, fenced in area . The working farm has friendly miniature horses but they had been in the barn during my visit. I visited during heavy rain and the entire area has fairly dry fields , filled with pasture grass with limited mud ( I do suggest wearing hiking boots or sneakers to your visit due to the nature of farm fields and dirt arena area ). I definitely would recommend this location, it is my favorite sniff spot and I plan to visit again! Thanks for the opportunity to visit!

Dayspring farm was so lovely! Very quiet and peaceful, with tons of land for our two dogs to walk/run/sniff/explore. My husband and I loved the time outside without leashes! Fully fenced with multiple areas to spread out in, without a worry of escape. The fog and last of the fall leaves made it so special. Our dogs sniffed one adorable horse through the fence when parking, no issues. We can’t wait to go back again!

This place is WONDERFUL. It was so quiet and peaceful. The fencing was very secure and the huge pastures really allowed the dogs to get in some great runs. No one came in or out of the area we were in so we felt the dogs were very safe. There was a little sort of a creek that the dogs loved playing in as well. They had a blast and we now have tired, happy dogs. Andrea was very nice and showed us where to go and which areas to use when we got there. We loved it!

What a great location for our pups to run and play. This place has it all, from a huge covered gymnasium to endless fields and even horses (positioned away from play area) you can meet, pet and feed. Our dogs are exhausted and sleeping after running across the fields. We also found it very relaxing and quiet to spend time in the fields. The hosts are very thoughtful and there’s six + play areas. So if you have a group you could put some pups in separate areas. Well fenced about four feet high, we weren’t worried about our dogs at all and one is very prey driven. My wife loves horses and the host was generous enough to let her go pet them after we finished our dog time and had the dogs safely in the car.

Gorgeous wild forested area with lots of paths through the trees and brush for dogs to wander and sniff. Lots of friendly songbirds, great atmosphere! There was one small section of the fence with a gap where something had dug under it - it was blocked off with sticks, but a small dog could squeeze under it. Otherwise very secure! The top of the fence had electric fencing in places - not a hazard for dogs, and I don't know if it was on, but be sure not to touch it just in case. Inbar was wonderful, very helpful and great communication. Overall it was great, and we hope to come back!
