** We are open and accepting bookings on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day. ** 23 acres enclosed with 4' high woven wire fence, a mix of open field and heavy woods, sometimes turkey, grouse, gophers, and bunnies, lots of "sniff therapy"! Private entrance is shaded with easy access right onto the wooded trails! The portapotty and dog rinse station are located in the parking area. We have bug sprays and poop bags at the entrance and the far end of the field for you to use if needed. Special visitation hours or larger groups may be available under prior arrangement. Shoot us a message, and we can usually make larger groups or people traveling to/from dog competitions happen! For those traveling, we might also be able to accommodate visits outside of our normal hours. ***now that we have freezing temps at night, we are not leaving water out in the field.***

This sniffspot area was great! We will come back for sure! The trails are nice, we wore hiking boots since it rained the night before and we weren't sure how wet it would be. Beautiful! A huge open field with mowed trails, wide easy to walk paths through the woods. My dogs had a blast. Poop bags were available, along with a basket of toys. Truly a dog paradise. Easy parking right by the gate.

Great fenced area, nice shady paths, sooooooo much to smell! Trails are great, nicely mowed. Finn was so busy he didn’t even want to play with the many toys available! Very secure gates. Bring towels - there is a bit of a tiny “pond” on one path that necessitated a good washing - but was totally enjoyed! Highly recommend.

Came here on a very hot day on a long road trip. Clear signage on the way into the sniffspot. The spot itself has a mix of shaded and unshaded areas. The fence description seemed accurate to what was in the spot. In my road weary state I was unable to tell if I could walk the whole perimeter of the fence since there appeared to be wooded areas between the trails and the fencing in some areas. So since my dog is smaller I kept him on a long line but we still had a good time. Hope we can explore it more sometime.

It’s a safe, well maintained property. My dogs had an absolute blast enjoying this beautiful spot. We hiked some of the trails and enjoyed the wide open pasture. We are traveling, but I hope to return soon to the area. My dogs were all smiling. I am so pleased to write a review on this Sniffspot, 10 Stars! This is one of the farthest spots we've traveled to, 4 hours round trip but it was worth it! Fencing was secure, trails beautifully maintained, wild flowers everywhere, lots of toys and water available, plenty of privacy, so much space for full speed Zoomies, squirrels galore! A slice of paradise! Host was gracious and allowed us to bring a small pool 😊 Definitely coming back in October 💜

This was an absolutely spectacular Sniffspot. The trails were beautifully groomed and using the golf cart with magical. Our dogs had a blast, running free and playing with all the toys provided! The attention to detail was outstanding. Not only will your animal have a wonderful time, they ensure that the owners also have a great time. Lots of shaded areas for you and your dog to relax and sit. They had flea and tick spray for you at the gate. They also had tennis balls to borrow. Great property, and I really appreciated that it was fully fenced. There's a variety of areas, some is wooded, a small section is tall grass like a prairie, and there are mowed trails and one big area that's mowed. Recommendation for those with dogs that aren't great on recall: the property is woodsy and large enough where you could lose sight of your dog pretty easily. I decided to keep my dog leashed since can be a slave to her nose. She still had a great time!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
