We will definitely be returning regularly
I highly recommend this place but try to keep it a secret for as long as possible...lol

55This was our first ever Sniffspot and boy, did Melanie set the bar high!! Gorgeous, clean & serene! There were even some human amenities provided (bug spray, for example) that made the stay particularly enjoyable. If you’re traveling through (or lucky enough to live close by) definitely enjoy this spot with your four-legged friend! Anna R.

55We are puppy sitting a rescue who doesn’t have a fenced yard so we took him here and he went crazy. He ran for the whole hour and had the time of his life. He’s reactive so dog parks are a hard no but this is perfect. Kelly L.

55Easy to find because of detailed directions given by the individual. Beautiful place, loads of room for the dogs to run! There were chairs for the hoomans to sit, balls for the dogs to play with, tree branches for the dogs who love sticks. An access area to the small creek for them to get a drink. Field/pasture is rolling with some trees. Quiet space.
Will definitely be going back!!!!Autumn M.

55This was the perfect, safe, and secure place for my 1 year old German Shepherd and I to play fetch. There are patio/lawn chairs, the place was clean, everything was user friendly, and I may just become a regular here. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so so much!!molly c.

55Our youngest spunky Doberman found her way out as some of the mesh fencing is easy to put a nose under and then go. She was extremely motivated to leave the glorious running space by an adorable dog walking off leash with his owners along the road parallel to the stream fencing. Had the dog not been there to entice her for an out of the park rendezvous, she would have been happy to run the perimeter as she had for a full 20 minutes before the incident. Fortunately, she was polite to the dog and walkers and they were kind to her. She was recovered quickly and returned to the field to run a little more. The first time we came as guests of a family member a few weeks ago, we also brought our little chihuahua mix. He ran to the far end of the field and was not ready to stop so he did the nose tuck under the mesh fencing and got out twice. Despite this concern, we love this space and our dogs really enjoy the run and sniff opportunities provided. We just have to call them away from perimeters and be alert to other dogs walking who may be looking to aid and abet the delinquency of our sometimes unruly runner.PJ T.

FAQ about our Greeneville dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Greeneville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 112 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 7 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
