**if you are interested in buying “farm” fresh chicken eggs please shoot me a message to check availability. $5/dozen** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, NEW tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. I have two acres with plenty of parking. I do not have any dogs but friends/family members dogs come out and visit often. I do have a tie out, a covered porch with table and chairs, and a dog house. It is not fenced in and there are dogs next door on an invisible fence so I do ask that your dog is on a leash or has a great recall as to not bother the other dogs next door. There is a creek that runs through the property at the back, towards the field. I will provide drinking bowls/water, a kiddie play pool, and water +snacks for owners as long as I know in advance! 😊 all doggos deserve to have the room to play!

But we all get along and we are always on our best behavior. They love attention as much as they can get. It's usually pretty quiet back here and it's real nice by the creek even with all the talk grass growing. Your welcome to come and check it out. Humans can stay on the mowed pathways while the dogs roam the open fields. Active farming activities including beehives, vegetable growing areas and bramble patch! While the area is only partially fenced, a large ditch to the south, creek to the north, and natural wooded boundaries define the edges of the parcel. Recommended for dogs on leash or under good voice control as a nearby road is quite busy.
