55For our first visit to this huge puppy playground, I booked 2 hours (we came from Alexandria). It was a smart decision, given at the end I had to go hunt down my 2yo pittie princess. She saw me starting to open up the car and put things away, and immediately tried to hide in the vast, fenced space so she could stay longer.
When we pulled up, the driveway gate was secured. It was very easy to open, pull through, and re-secure. Then you pull further up the drive, and the pups get to run free! There was a huge area that was recently mowed and cool, breezy shaded spaces. We walked the perimeter several times together, and the pups were nothing but smiles the entire time.
Note: There are horses living next door! Yay!!They have a fence, the Sniffspot is fenced, and the most my pups could see them was when the horses poked their heads out of the stable windows to say hi. I could also hear a rooster, but I don't think the dogs even noticed. They were too excited about the smells! And the large, funny-looking dogs in the stable. LOLKammy K.

55Fully fenced, super clean and bigger than any dog park I’ve ever been to! Felicia is very nice and had water and doggie bags available. Highly recommend and will definitely be back :)Maria M.

55Our dogs had a great time running around this farmette. The grounds are generally flat with short grass and there a few areas of brush near the fence line for variety, and several mature trees that host chase-able squirrels. Host provides poop bags, water, chairs, and other useful things like hand sanitizer. There is a chicken coop on the property that was of interest to our pups but is well fenced so no danger of unfortunate accidents. Best place we’ve found for open area to run. Can’t wait to go back. 55Such an amazing space with tons of smells for my pup to explore! She especially loved getting to sit by the chicken coop to look at the birds. Felicia was such a great host, meeting me at the gate to let us in and providing fresh water, poop bags, sunscreen, bug spray, etc!Pam S.

FAQ about our Indian Head dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.

How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
