There was only one issue I had and was not her fault at all but she immediately added it to their description and that is the shooting range that is close by. My dog has bad anxiety and any loud noises are extremely bothersome for him so we had to leave soon after we arrived. I would definitely return to their play yard if it wasnt for that and am actually considering trying it at a different time of day to see if there is no gunshots going off. Laurie also gave me information of another location they have for us to try. She was also willing to refund my money since we couldnt stay but I didnt want it because it wasnt her fault. Again The host had mentioned that in their description so definitely be mindful if your dogs are sound sensitive. It is really easy to miss the sniff spot so if you make it to the doggie daycare just turn around and go back. The play Yard has a small white sign. We drove past it at first but was able to find it after we turned around. So pretty easy to find
My husband my dogs and myself will definitely be utilizing the space again as I thought it was perfect for our pups.

A few things that we noticed during our two hour stay…..There was some noise from the nearby dog boarding facility as well as a nearby gun range, but it wasn’t overwhelming or upsetting to our dog at all. There was what appeared to be a water spigot at the far end of the yard, but it was not functional. We had brought along our own water and a bowl, so it wasn’t a problem at all. It wasn’t entirely clear how to most optimally latch the gate once we were inside the yard, but I think we got it right after a bit. Also, when you pull into the area, there isn’t a parking spot per se, but there is plenty of room to maneuver, park, turn around, etc, and everything was cleared out and accessible.
Our dog is brand new to us (this is just week three!) and she is a rescue who has had a very difficult past few months. It was such a joy to watch her run and play stress free today! Thanks so much, we will absolutely be back!Jessica Y.

I drove over an hour to get there, and it was totally worth it. My dog and I had the best time walking the fenced area. It was the first time my dog really got to run off lead in a big area without me constantly nagging to come back to me.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
