THE DOG PARK A current Dog Park Pass is required for entrance into the Dog Park. Day passes may be purchased at Buckles Feed Depot located at 220 S. 4th Street during business hours. Proof of current rabies vaccination and/or proof of Registration with Lafayette or West Lafayette is required. The Park Department does not provide an on-site Supervisor; therefore users are required to follow posted rules at all times while on Park grounds. The Dog Park closes at dusk. THE DOGS Dogs must be healthy, parasite-free, and wearing tags. It is recommended that dogs be on year round heartworm and flea/ tick preventative. Dogs known to exhibit vicious, fierce, aggressive, or dangerous behavior are not permitted at any time in the park or Dog Park. Dog owners shall remove their dog(s) at the first sign of aggressive behavior. Dogs must be supervised, never left unattended or out of sight range, and maintained under voice control at all times. Female dogs in any stage of heat are not permitted in the Dog Park. Dogs under 4 months of age are not permitted in the Dog Park. THE PEOPLE Dog Owners and Handlers are limited to 3 dogs per visit. Cooperation between Dog Owners and/or Handlers is expected and required. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted inside the Dog Park. DOG EQUIPMENT Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park. Handler must have one leash per dog at all times. Check all entrances before unleashing your dog(s). Choke chains, prong collars, and head collars (Halti, Gentle Leaders, etc) should be removed before releasing your dog inside the Dog Park. Acceptable collars inside the Dog Park are flat buckle, limited slip/martingale or snap. A harness may be worn instead of a collar. PEOPLE EQUIPMENT Bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, strollers and motorized vehicles are not permitted in the Dog Park. Wheelchairs, motorized wheelchairs, crutches, and walkers are permitted. LARGE AND SMALL DOG AREAS The small dog area is for small dogs that may not feel comfortable around larger dogs in the main area. If small dog owners are comfortable letting their small dog play in the main area, they may do so. This park is a designated “Dog Park”. It is unsupervised, and members use the park at their own risk. KEEP YOUR DOG PARK BEAUTIFUL AND FUN! Owners must immediately bag and dispose of any pet waste left by their dog(s). Please place all litter in the appropriate trash containers provided. Small bite-sized treats for dogs are permitted. Food in bowls or rawhide are not permitted. Food for people and glass containers are prohibited inside the Dog Park. Smoking is prohibited within the Dog Park. RULE VIOLATIONS Entry into the Dog Park is at the risk of the dog owners or handlers. Dog owners or handlers are responsible and liable for any damage to property, persons, or other animals caused by their dog(s). Dogs, Owners, and park users creating a disturbance or violating posted rules must immediately leave the dog park if requested by law enforcement personnel, park personnel, other members of the Dog Park Association, or their designated agents. Report serious incidents immediately to Park Security at 491-2679.

Our dog parks are dedicated to fun and bonding time with your furry friends. This park is not attended by staff but shall be monitored and checked on by citizens, parks staff, and other city staff.

We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Our property is a mix of 2 open pastures, and trails through the woods. There is a smaller totally fenced in area (former goat enclosure) that’s great for working on recall and scent work. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.

Welcome to our spot, the perfect place for your friend to enjoy some off-leash time in a safe and controlled environment. We understand that some dogs may be reactive or require a bit more space, and we are happy to accommodate their needs. Our location offers plenty of room for your dog to explore and play without the worry of unexpected encounters. No immediate neighbors have dogs that share a fence with us. Occasionally, a dog in the distance may be outside near the southeast corner, but this is rare, ensuring a calm and enjoyable visit for your pet. A kiddie pool is available in the summer, but I will need to be notified in advance on whether or not you would like it filled. Two humans per dog are allowed unless arrangements are made with me in advance. Please note that the yard may be wet or muddy after rain or snow. Additionally, mole holes might be present in some areas (providing extra sniffing opportunities!) 😜 Additionally, our spot is conveniently located right by the B&O Trail, making it easy for you to warm up or cool down your visit with a walk. Come visit us and give your dog the freedom they deserve!! Feel free to bring a speaker if you want to listen to music during your visit! 🐾

Fenced yard with mulched playground with swings, rope climb, monkey bars, sand box, for human kiddos. Summertime has veggie gardens to admire and a table, chairs, & lounge chair to relax in. No picking though please. Hot tub is also not included at this price. Property has surveillance cameras. Please park on my driveway or on the street but not directly across from a neighbor’s driveway.

This is my own dogs backyard that potty, play, and train in for over 25 years. The fencing is privacy 4x6 panels and is over 25 years old. I am hosting it so other dogs and the humans can have a place to enjoy themselves without to many triggers. I have a little bit of training equipment. There are stick pole weaves and weave-o-matics (bought from our kennel club). I have some homemade Teacup agility equipment that was donated to my Granddaughter last Summer and I'll be pulling it out to see what is usable. Since this yard is my dogs area to potty and play I only bring out so much training equipment so they have plenty of room to roam. So keep an eye out on me changing photos so you know what equipment is out in the yard. I have kiddie pools that I'll be pulling out for my dogs to use as the Temperature rises. Unfortunately my town changes for water usage so they won't always be completely filled, just enough to keep the dogs cool. There are old dog toys in the yard that my dogs play with or destroy. Your dogs are welcome to play with them, just make sure to throw away the ones they destroy in the trash can. I also have a teether pole if your dogs like to teether pull. I have other training oddities that I will list as I round up for my dogs training. All I ask is please DO NOT bring SICK dogs to my backyard. If they are having Diarrhea, coughing, and etc. please don't bring them. Wait until it has cleared up. Please be considerate to others!

This spot has a nice covered porch with seating. There is a grill area with seating, grill and fridge. Also a water hose if needed. There's a fireplace that you can take chairs from grill area to and enjoy a warm up if you've brought wood to burn.

Lots of area to roam free, play and train. Beautiful country setting. Pack a picnic and enjoy the outdoors with your fur babies. With enough notice we may be able to use the pond in the back. 🐕‍🦺🐕🐶🐾🐩🐕🐕‍🦺🦮🐾. We can’t wait to sniff you😂😂😂. Love Millie and Tito

Lush, fully fenced backyard in quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. .5 acre space - plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while you sit and enjoy the area. Located right off 96th and Ditch, convenient for travelers on I-465, Highway 31, or Michigan Rd. We have no dogs, but do have small children and a cat. This is not a good place for aggressive dogs for this reason, and because our neighbors have a dog (visible through the fence). Guests may park in the horseshoe circle drive in front of the house (please don't block the driveway to the garage) and let themselves into the back yard using the wrought iron gate next to the garage and trash cans. This beautiful yard is spacious and fully fenced. The toy structures have been removed for the winter so the space is unlimited. Great for dogs to run around. There is an incline in the back if your dogs like to run down little hills or roll down it. Grass covers the entire yard except for the decorative rock structures. I would love to host your babies and allow them to get the exercise and space they deserve.

(PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY) *we may have limited availability until the end of hunting season.* THIS IS AN ACTIVE FARM. YOU MAY SEE FARM EQUIPMENT NEAR THE BARN, ETC. Come enjoy our little paradise! Sugar Creek runs through the back of our property. You are welcome to enjoy it, just be careful while walking the trails. We do have chickens and turkeys on the front of the property. PLEASE leash your dogs until you are on the trail. It’s also very important to leave on time and not show up early. We have multiple guests a day and we need to let our dogs out as well during the day. If you do arrive early, please sit on the 1/4 mile driveway until your allotted time. If you are late, just send us a message if you would like to stay after your scheduled time to make up for being late. We may be out with our dogs doing chores in between guests. We want to continue to host for SniffSpot but we are having issues with people going over allotted time, allowing their dogs to chase our animals, and wandering around spots that are not for guests. All we ask is that guests are respectful of our animals and our property. Our house is not part of the SniffSpot. Please do not bring your dogs up to the front of our house. Our dogs are inside and will see you & start barking. There’s plenty of land to explore!
