"Big Open Area" has 2 ponds with optional pavilion, BBQ grill and fire pit with a bundle of wood.

We own a long 10 acre parcel that backs up to state land. There is a well developed trail that walks the length of the property that you’re welcome to stick to. The trail takes you through a field section midway, a patch of ferns and a small clearing at the edge of the property. I have a 9yo border collie who is fetch obsessed, you may even find one of her dozens of forgotten frisbees along the way. There are two active wells with dog dishes out (one at the start and another midway) that you’re more than welcome to freshen or fill as much as you like! We do have chickens that are not free range along the trail in their coop. Summertime we have an outdoor bathroom with shower that you’re welcome to use (shower upon request for towels).

Experience the adventure of the forest and the joy of the lake on a quiet private road in the heart of the Manistee National Forest. With 3 acres of forest to run, a lake with dock to swim, open area to play and plenty of seating to relax or have a snack, this space offers plenty to entertain both canines and their people for hours. There's a picnic table to sit and have a snack or a fire pit with log seating for relaxing (no fires please, we are in a National Forest). Park anywhere along either of the two long wooded driveways. Please no driving or parking between the house and the barn. The property is not fenced however the property is bordered by a lake on one side, blank forest land on one side and quiet neighbors on the other 2 sides who are rarely seen from our property. We also have an outdoor dog wash station, groomed trails and poop bag dispensers with a garbage can coming soon! Note: The condition of the lake varies by season and can get quite mucky at times. We recommend bringing a towel or two. We have a dog wash station coming soon!

Parking space available in front drive area. Entrance to backyard is to the left of the home. Either use the fenced in area or open area to the left. Both areas are approximately .25 acres.

Out here you will feel a sense of private serenity. Property is surrounded by woods and farm land. There are plenty of trails for walking. Open spaces for playing. Birds singing and nature.

Beautiful open slope to the lake as well as wooded areas to explore. Island view, seating, water available, kid friendly no cigarette smoking. Can double the fee to add dock/fishing/fire pit access hourly.

We have 10 acres of land to run. Pond outside last treated last year (July) Has gate that can be closed in front yard. Fence around 10 acres, but can get out if determined. Anyone coming has to have eyes on their animals for the duration of the stay.

Located just off Main Street in Farwell, my fully fenced backyard offers a convenient and secure space for your dog to stretch their legs. The location is less than a five-minute drive from the highways and is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and lakes. If you visit on a Saturday between May and October, you can also enjoy the Farwell farmers market, or catch one of the town’s festivals during major holidays. There are a few takeout options in town, and you’re welcome to use the table and chairs in the backyard to enjoy a meal while your dog explores. Approximately 50 acres of woods has one main trail and optional side trails. Trails have clear boundary lines so please do not cross into neighboring property.

One acre in the woods. There is a very old husky in the fenced part of the yard. He gets along with most dogs .
