The route to the Farmette is very scenic and is near Smallwood State Park and various boat, fishing locations. The street is milled, so PLEASE DRIVE SLOW as you ride to the end of the road. The yard is fully fenced, secured by a farm gate. You will enjoy a pesticide and chemical free yard for the safety of all 🐕. Bug spray and natural flea, tick spray is provided for all visitors. Come and watch your pets run the wide open spaces, splash in the Puddle Park 💦🫧. Seating, plenty of shade can be found on the grounds. There is plenty of space to park inside of the spot and allows for multiple vehicles of any size to park to accommodate large pup parties🙂 . We no longer have goats. 8 acre pasture completely fenced in with wood fence and field wire. Field is currently completely cut. You are allowed to drive your vehicle in to the field without having to leash your pup! It’s such a large area that waste removal isn’t required unless it happens right in front of you. If that happens, please dispose of over the fence. Shovel provided a entry. Don’t forget to check out the extras! Thank you!🙂

Located in a quiet area of the Benning Ridge neighborhood, just near Fort Dupont Park and the hiker / biker trails (a great place to walk), our big-for-DC fenced back yard is a great place to throw the ball with your pet, stop for a break, and have some nice dog play and space to relax in the city where there are not many dog parks nearby. We are a dog family, and have a smooth fox terrier in the house, and if you request the time to be completely private, we will make sure he stays inside! It's also ideal for doggie sun bathers and for those looking for a nice shady spot to keep cool. You'll find bottled water for yourself and clean water bowls that can be filled from the water hose. I also provide poop bags in several places along the fence line, a larger bag near the entrance to dispose of used doggie bags, doggie wipes, dog toys, and a doggie swimming pool in warmer weather. Cushioned chairs, paper towels and hand sanitizer are on hand for your comfort, cleanliness and convenience.
