We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

We have an acre fenced that we want dogs to come and enjoy a good run or a fun place to play ball. There is a shelter to stand under if needed with two chairs that can be moved as needed. Most of the area is flat and there are some trees is the back of the property with longer grass. You do have to walk up a little hill to get to the flat part but it is not bad. There is a parking area right outside the man-gate where you enter with a parking sign. We have put a chuck it with balls and a frisbee under the bench lid for you to use as well as weave poles and an adjustable jump for the pups to try out. Everything you need as far as water, water bowl and toys are all under the bench lid by the big tree. *Updated hours: more availability at night but know the mosquitos are bad when the sun goes down so please wear bug spray or use the bug spray provided. *With spring and summer coming more people are out so there may be noise while at the spot, we do have neighbors with kids and dogs. Google Maps will get you lost so once booked I will send directions directly via chat.

Lovely spot with an even amount of sunshine as well as shade. Nice seating provided in two shaded spots, one in the wooded area of the property and the other under a nice private run-in shed. Water, bowls, dog pool, fenced in area (that we didn’t explore much) and well marked trails. Host even provided a map of the property and options on the ground. Clean property, clean trash, clean seats, and a lovely little oasis. Felt plenty safe and enjoyed the quiet with my young daughter and our dog. Extremely appreciative of Colin and his family for their hospitality. We will definitely be back when we come through the area again.

I arranged to meet a friend at this Sniffspot so that my two dogs and my friends’ dogs could have an off-leash play date. It was the perfect venue. The dogs had a blast and there was plenty to sniff. We will definitely be back. The trails are well marked and mowed down which is great, especially during tick season (we didn’t have any ticks on us).

This is a great spot! Definitely check out the trail map which is in the covered area by the parking spot, it outlines where the neighboring dogs might be off leash so you can keep an eye out. There’s plenty of other property if you are wanting to avoid dogs and people, and the fenced area is plenty fun!!

This is our pups very first SnifSpot outting! What a fantastic experience. Colin was very responsive and welcoming. The gated area has plenty of room for multiple dogs to explore, run and play. One of our pups is people and dog reactive so I was a little concerned about the level of privacy but that concern immediately was put to rest. We even explored the property outside of the gated area as well. I want to thank this wonderful couple for their hospitality. Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
