We will open back up when the weather is nicer. Each time we clean up we get another storm. Check back in March. You will have 8 acres fenced in to roam. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. At any time, you can request more seating. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. Fence: The fence is four feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see snakes, rabbits, deer, and squirrels. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. * We see hawks occasionally. Please watch your little dogs* Grounds: It is a hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. ** Watch out for fire ant hills** Water: You have access to our well and a large water bowl. There should be at least one small water bowl in the carport as well.

Fantastic spot! Robin and Paul were extremely gracious and welcoming. The woods and paths were peaceful to wander about. Make sure you grab a spider stick on your way in for webs between trees especially if you go off the path.

A great spot to enjoy a walk through the woods with your dog while leashed. There are areas where you can let them off and run. There is a creek to enjoy, but if you go after a rain, wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Host is very friendly. Other animal on site to enjoy also.

Our pups had an excellent time exploring Robin’s home. So much space for sniffing on the trails through the woods. We saw two pigs and a goat in a fenced area at the trailhead, and Robin’s pups were in a kennel on the other side of the yard. Thank you for allowing us to visit, Robin! We hope to come back soon.

Had a great time today with my two dogs. There was plenty of land and a creek for them to play in. The nearby river had recently flooded, which provided the dogs with so many spots in and around the piled up logs and debris to investigate. I loved watching my dogs being dogs!

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
