Formerly an American Legion property, our space now offers a half-mile of private trails perfect for on-leash or off-leash walks, winding through serene forested areas and connecting directly to the state trail in Schnipsit State Forest for extended adventures. Our open fields provide plenty of room for fetch and play, while shaded areas keep your dogs cool on warmer days. Hydration station is available behind the house to ensure your pets stay refreshed. We maintain a clean and safe environment for all our visitors. We also have two friendly English Springer Spaniels who love to socialize and make new friends. To access the agility field: Please follow the driveway straight back past the detached garage. There is a gravel road to take you back to the sniffspot. Please park along the fence line of the field in the grass- do NOT park on the gravel road! *If you have never taken agility classes or competed in agility before, please message me and we can set up a time for a private lesson to ensure the safety of you and your dog! Puppies under a year should not be jumping too high or too repeatedly, and the larger pieces of equipment are dangerous for a dog to dismount improperly. And please, no humans on the equipment!* If you move or change the heights of any jumps, please put them back how you found them before you leave! Do not move any of the larger pieces of equipment (weave poles, dogwalk, a-frame, or teeter). AKC Regulation a-frame, teeter, dogwalk, and jumps from Max200. MAD Agility channel weaves. Saloon door style tire and tunnels from Clean Run. Please potty your dogs outside of the agility field! Keep your dogs leashed for safety as it is not fully fenced outside of the agility field and keep your eyes peeled for poison ivy! Please stay out of the neighbor’s property and out of the fenced in yard close to the house. It is low tech back there. There is no electricity or running water. Gates are secured with bungees for now until permanent posts & latches are installed. Please bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, proper footwear, etc. I do my best to keep the field as manicured as possible, but it is the out of doors so nothing is ever perfect! The pine trees provide lovely shade, but they do also provide pinecones and twigs. Give the space a once over to ensure there is nothing pokey on you or your dog’s path! Be nice to the neighbors! And have fun!

Enjoy the safety of a fully fenced in backyard on over 10,000 ft.² of grass! Enjoy use of another .50 acre of flat, open field for long leash training and recall.  Sit in the shaded gazebo while your pup sniffs and runs OR play a fun game of fetch with one of our balls, frisbees or sticks. Either way, your furry friend will leave tired and happy! While you’re here, enjoy a hike in the Shenipsit State Forest just steps away from our property. Hike the Connecticut blue trail and take your pet(s) on a fun adventure. Welcome to our brand new Sniffspot area in Sturbridge (Fiskdale) MA. We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. While I usually require advance notice, if you message me, and I'm able to immediately respond, I may be able to accommodate last minute reservations. (please note, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space) Looking forward to adding amenities, play options and operational improvements as the season progresses .

The dog park at Starwind Farm is located on a working horse farm and offers three options. There is a beautiful walk next to the river with a path that winds around the horse paddocks. There is an indoor riding arena for off leash play and work. There is a small fenced in grass paddock for contained, on leash work. We have a stream and large area for throwing balls. The area is almost blocked off with only a few exits to our neighbor's yard. There's also a garden area around the other side of the house where they can play as well. In the winter there's woods they can run around in. It's a bit overgrown during the summer but if you have an adventurous dog go for it. We are right next to a school with a playground.

Park at southern most point of farm south of house where there lies a large pile of logs. Walk along tree line into open fields lined by forests. Pond near first field walking north below house. May use all fields that lie between the public road & the first long line of forest. Hello! We are excited to share our yard! The unique thing about us is we offer an agility obstacle course and a dog pool (upon request). We do have two dogs that we will keep inside and not visible. You may enter the property through a gate on the side of the house, but we will get more into details when you book :)

Quiet spot off the road and surrounded by woods. We have a cut grass area and a field. We also have a path that goes around the field if you prefer to keep your dog out of tall grass.

Fully fenced in backyard and enclosed porch for you and your pets to enjoy. Enclosed porch also includes a gate to prevent pets from going in or out of the porch as wanted or needed. Lots of seating area for people around the yard. Large picnic table, grill, and fire pit available for use. Canopy with hammock and small bench for leisure. Small kiddie pool and sprinkler for the pups enjoyment. 

Trying this out. Fencing and agility course will be our next investment. River access and wide open field maintained and private. Kayak access as well.
