Welcome to Zoey’s Barn Yard Playground. We have a total of 7 acres with 5 available for plenty of doggy fun. There are 3 sections of fenced areas and lots of field space to play in. You will see 3 field gates on the property. Please feel free to open or close these for your convenience to section off play areas. We have cut a path that runs around the perimeter of the property for your curious pups and walking pleasure. There is a barn for protection from the rain and sunshine. Located there is a water spicket with a hose attached for use, trash can and a basket with extra waste bags, toys, bug spray, sunblock, towels and some water bottles for puppy parents. There are also a few camp chairs for your use located near the grill. Please excuse the barns appearance. You never know what project we may be in the middle of. Though we don't mind if your fur baby enters the barn, please do not use it as a play area. We are planning to refill the pond in the next few weeks for some water fun. This part of the property has several cedar glades, marked hiking trails, karst topography, a seasonal creek, a variety of wildlife, and several benches (one converts to a picnic table) available for guests. We’ve developed and are continually maintaining trails across our property. Some of the trails are wide and open and give you great access to the beautiful pastures. Other trails are narrow and twist through the unendingly interesting woods. All trails have names and are identified with signs and posted maps. The woods trails are also marked with flags and ribbons to help you stay on track. The terrain varies from flat and open to hilly and wooded. If you need the fresh air, chance to recharge, and time to explore as much as your pup, this is the place for you! Our property is unfenced, and there are some neighbor homes near the property lines. It is essential that your dogs stay close to you and don’t bother anything outside our property. Plentiful Hill is a wild place. We aim to make it accessible and enjoyable to visitors, but we ultimately submit to the inescapable power, beauty, and essence of nature. Please anticipate and prepare for normal outdoor issues including bug bites, snake encounters, and severe weather. We work hard to keep paths mowed/accessible during the growing months, but bug spray (with Deet is the most effective) and tick checks are necessary to ensure you and your pups stay happy and healthy. :) ***Because this property has been a farm for more than 200 years, you may find some old implements, trash, and wire fencing left over from all those years ago. Staying on the trails while in the woods is advised. Also, you may hear the occasional gunshot from neighboring properties. That is common down in the country, especially during hunting season from Nov through Jan, and it can be startling. There is no shooting/hunting on our property.*** The Town of Chapel Hill is 10 minutes away and has several Dollar Generals, a small grocery store, several restaurants, a laundry mat, and a few boutique shops...enough to cover any essential needs you have while out visiting this way! We’re less than 30 minutes from Spring Hill and Lewisburg, less than 40 minutes from Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, and, surprisingly, less than 50 minutes from downtown Nashville. You will enjoy an acre of flat grass land that is kept short for you and your pets safety. We have beautiful comfortable benches and chairs set throughout our park! You will be driving on a dirt/gravel path, will park on grass/dirt, and may cross the small creek by foot. Conditions get muddy and access changes during wet weather, so please be prepared to follow posted signage. 𝟐) Access to the property requires unlatching and opening a drive-through gate. 𝟑) Access to the fenced Sniffspot requires parking before a small creek crossing and walking leashed dog over creek and about 500 feet along mowed path OR driving across the creek and parking by Sniffspot gated entrance. The choice is left to visitor discretion, but it is STRONGLY recommended that low-clearance vehicles (sedans, vans, etc) do NOT drive over the creek. This is an awesome opportunity for you and your pet to go on the fun-filled, adventure-packed, private field trip you’ve been waiting for! We have a creek and pond on site for the water loving fur babies to use as they please! We ask that you use the second entrance that has a gravel driveway and parking area, rather than the entrance to the main house. There will be signage at the correct entrance. Keep in mind that we have a fence on all sides except along the road. However, our road isn’t very busy, and you will be far enough off the road enough that we do not foresee any problems, as long as your dog doesn’t have a tendency of heading for the hills as soon as they are off leash. Even then, I think there is enough room that any dog will be free to run and play without harm. We have two dogs of our own, so please let me know if you would like me to put them up during your visit. If not, my doggos are friendly and would love to play with your pet(s)! Most of the pets in the pictures provided are of dogs I have watched for friends and family in the past. Oh, and no need to bag poo. 😁

Think of it as renting out a state park for the day! Enjoy the sound of water the moment you park. Walk along the driveway to view the creek and gorge the whole way in or enjoy mountain trails on the right side of the driveway. Marathon runners love training here! Make sure the pups get to swim and splash in the clean flowing creek. Take a break so you and your pup(s) can enjoy pure relaxation. *Inquire about camping overnight if you love it too much to leave. We hope you and your pup(s) will love it as much as we and our pups do. *Please note when you make a reservation it will be booked on central time zone. I’m happy to honor eastern time when possible. *Rules are simple but some forget, which is to leave the land the way you find it. 🐶💕 *Do not carve on trees please, especially the big tree at the back boundary with Indian carvings on it. 🐶💕 *Do not leave bags of waste along the driveway. Dogs get to be dogs here so bagging isn’t necessary but if you bag their waste, then take it to the provided garbage can. 🐶💕 *a horse trough is provided in place of a picnic table / bench at the back boundary next to the small fire pit which has wood stacked and ready for use. *The water can rise during floods coming into the back boundary field so accommodations are being made for a heavier picnic table that won’t wash away like the first one did 🙂 *please always check back for updates as the property continues to improve for pups and their parents 🐶💕 * ALWAYS close the gate behind you unless your told otherwise please 🐶💕

We are currently building a house at the back of the property and construction equipment is in and out. Guests/dogs are able to roam the front part of the property. There is a fence separating the property from Maple Springs Road. We do have a 6 month old black lab and our neighbors have a couple dogs and multiple farm animals (sheep/horses) separated from our property by a fence. This is only available before planting and after harvest due to crops being planted.
