We are open to visitors using our 12 acres of open field space, 3 acre pond, almost a half mile of stream, and 3 acres of woods. Trails move you around the pond and up into the woods. There is a lot to do here and a plethora of activities for dogs and humans ranging from open field play and running, hiking, and water activities. Please follow the signs and do not disturb the owners at house. Beach area of pond has seating areas, hammock, and fire pit. There is also a seating area and rope swing. Visitors are not permitted to fish in pond. The Ridge Trail is a bit more difficult for older dogs and humans and/or people not in the best shape to hike. Proceed with caution. CERTAINLY, please take the map provided at the entry table.

**SNOW DAY! We are OPEN, but very snowy! Our driveway is clear and salted (pet safe ice melt). Inside the yards is not shoveled, so enjoy the snow! The chairs will be cleared off but we recommend staying off the picnic tables. They get icy.** Come visit us on our 9 acre farm, surrounded by farmland with no view of roads, dogs, or passersby! The fenced yard is u-shaped and is a grassy hill, with flat spots on the top and bottom, just about an acre at this point. Our entire yard is about 3.5 acres and may be used, details under this. Great terrain to help your dog build some muscle or play fetch on for high energy dogs. Nice tree cover in the summer, and I’ll put out a couple chair swings under our shade tree - or bring a hammock, we have a couple trees perfect for it! We have an almost constant breeze that keeps the bugs away and the temperature comfortable. Wi-fi is available in most of the yard if you need it and there is electrical on the porch. We also have a small creek, flat grassy area and wooded area outside of the fence that you can use. The creek is spring fed and clean and the woods are on a hill. Great fun to walk around in. Please only use this if your dog is on a leash or 100% recall. We do have deer and other wildlife that visit. Hose for rinsing off provided. Water for dogs and poop bags and trash can will be by the porch. We will be expanding the fencing this fall to include another 1/2 acre or so and completely 6’ fence.

If you don’t want to clean up, we offer an extra called “Poop Patrol”, you can add this on to your visit and we will clean up for you. If we continue to have issues with poop not getting cleaned up, we will need to increase the price of our spot to compensate us for the additional time we have to spend cleaning up between visits. We don’t want to have to do this, so please be respectful and clean up the 💩 📍I believe the neighbors behind us got a new dog and they like to bark. Our fences do not touch, there is probably 10 feet of distance between our fences so there is no worries about fighting through the fence, but you may hear barking sometimes. They will eventually bring the dog in when the barking becomes too much 📍We laid some hay in and around the play area to help with the mud and protect the grass. 📍 We replaced the blue picnic table that was under the canopy with a couch and chair. Complete freedom to roam on 30 acres with a bonus that our land is surrounded by another 200+ acres of electric company owned land with no roads, no cars, no neighbors… just grass and forest. We have a Google Earth picture roughly showing the property lines and the driveway for you to use while exploring. We live on the property with our two rescue dogs (but they will be kept away and inside the house during your visit). Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you and please reach out if you need anything special or want to chat before coming.
