We loved our 2nd visit to the this meadow! The dogs LOVED running around the field, jumping in puddles, and rolling in deer poop, lol. The green gate does sit high, so two of our dogs crawled under it and got out into the road. Fortunately, they came right back, and my husband put some larger sticks under the gate to make the gap smaller. The dogs were more interested in what was the field vs out of it, so we didn’t have any more issues. The fencing is excellent and I felt safe letting the dogs run out of sight. Thanks for making this space available!

My pup had a great time running along the ATV trails and fields! We saw a few people in the parking lot when we got there and were leaving, but did not run into anyone on the trails.

This is a great spot for off leash training and field work. There is a pond for swimming and water retrieves. There are fields with low cover and some with higher cover. I really enjoyed my first visit and look forward to going back.

George's 40 Acre Unfenced Dog Park is a vast, tranquil space allowing a long walk my Australian Cattle Dog, Medika. Her recall is relaxed at this point, whereby "COME" is a suggestion in her highly independent assessment rather than a command. We begin training soon to correct this, but for now and moving forward this is an optimal setting for multiple reasons. Foremost, Medika can run, explore, dig & ramble to her heart's content. The entire area is interconnected trails, with wide open fields, a pond, tall grass, forest, hills & valleys throughout: a physical workout for you & your pup. One trail parallels briefly with the public road, but all other trails lead well inside the interior. No ATVs were present during our visit. For me, it was a quiet, meditative ramble well worth the drive from downtown Albany. A second visit is already booked: its a place we'll enjoy throughout the year!

This was my first time visiting a SniffSpot. It was wonderful. As other reviews have stated, there is a section of the atv paths that go near the road. But there are plenty of paths that don't go near the road too. I visited in the winter and didn't see another human or any animals. I did see plenty of deer tracks in the snow though. The majority of this SniffSpot is tree lined so my dogs naturally stayed within the boundary dispite there being no fence. I spent an hour here and there were plenty of paths to occupy that whole time without backtracking. I'll definitely be going back again.

Great spot! Very quiet and peaceful. My dog loved sniffing all of the animal tracks and running along the trails. There are a couple of places that go right by the road—we didn’t have an issue and walked all of the trails including those areas, but they’re easy to avoid if you’re concerned. My dog found a coyote carcass in the middle of the property, so there’s definitely wildlife around! We didn’t run into any ATVs

It was filled with nice trails, they were for ATVs. However , the ATVs did not come anywhere near us. There was a big puddle almost like a pond that the dogs went swimming in. I don't care if my dogs get dirty. There were some spots that led up to the road and I had to redirect them away from those as it is a busy road. They loved exploring the woods and the trails and just everything. Zooky didn't want to leave. It was a lot of walking, wear your hiking boots as you will walk through mud, rough terrain, and some puddles, after the rain yesterday. We did about 4 miles in an hour. Dogs were happy hungry and tired after. Would recommend

If I could give this more stars, I would. The best Sniffspot I have been to to date. George was nice enough to swing by to explain the property, which was very useful. We spent most of the time on the trails across the street from where the parking area is, and only saw one ATV in the distance. Our dogs romped in the giant field, hiked the shaded trails, hung out by the picnic tables, and checked out the pond. You could spend your whole day there and not see everything. We easily got in 5 miles and would have happily done more. We will definitely be referring our friends, and will be back!

I recently visited George’s and it exceeded my expectations. The space was beautifully maintained, with plenty of room for my dog to run and explore. The grass was lush and well-kept. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a clean, safe, and fun place for their furry friend!

Our dogs had a blast, lots of different trails to explore. They loved playing in the giant puddles & trying to catch all the frogs that were in them. We did see a couple 4 wheelers when we first arrived but not again after that.

Do yourself a favor and book a couple of hours here. There are endless miles of ATV trails for your dog to enjoy. This is one of the best spots on this app.
