This spot was great! We were able to let our dog freely roam on a 50ft leash. He spent most of his time in the pond swimming and wandering the mowed trails. We will definitely be back again!

My dude Petey and I drove two hours from Fort Wayne, IN to visit Dale’s spot and had a wonderful time! Many thanks to Dale and his family for opening their property up for others to enjoy, and for being a great communicator. Petey struggles with dogs and humans, and I always have questions before I bring him out to a spot. Dale made easy accommodations for us so I could grab a trail map. Trails are easy to navigate, even if you have a terrible sense of direction (like me!) and have to end up looking at Google Earth to make sure you’re facing the right direction. Petey enjoyed sniffing around the trails, exploring the creek in the woods, and said that the spring fed pond was the most refreshing beverage he’s ever had. Hope we can get back this fall to see the leaves change!

I can’t say enough good things about Dale and his property. We have been here one other time. This time, we rented his gator and had so much fun driving on the trails. The dogs ran in front of us and explored every good sniff spot 😉 We spent 4 hours here yesterday. The spring fed pond is always super clear and beautiful, but freezing cold and there are snakes in it so us humans didn’t go swimming. The dogs loved it though! At the end of our visit, I mentioned the chickens on the property, and Dale offered some farm fresh eggs and maple syrup. Definitely a must if you visit! Thanks again Dale, Franky and Callie can’t wait to visit again!

What a beautiful property. Dale was super nice and accommodating. My dog is wiped out and we didn’t even explore all of it. Wish I would have booked a longer slot to take full advantage. Will be back!

It was a super great experience with plenty of trails and places to sniff. My dog Brutus had a great time for the hour and half we were there. The pond is great feature too. My dog isn’t really a swimmer but he did dip his paws in. I definitely cannot wait to rebook.

Beautiful property with plenty of trails to explore with your pups. Dale was a wonderful host and gave us a map of the property when we arrived. Our two Great Danes loved the pond, they spent 75% of their time splashing around. We did a day trip and drove from Chicago, well worth the drive.

We had a blast walking the property. The water is clean, the creek was running. It was really nice to just be able to let the dogs be dogs. There are pheasant and chickens on the property but the owners made us aware of where to avoid.

Beautiful property! The mowed trails were perfect for my two boys who love to run as hard as they can. By the end, one boy was sopping wet, and the other had found some thing he found very aromatic to roll in so they were as happy as they could be 😹 Saw several birds of prey cruising about, and the tall grass in the fields made it feel like you never knew what was around each turn. My boys had a blast

My dogs and I had a great time on Dale’s property! He has a great pond that my dogs loved! There is a nice variety of cut and maintained trails and tall grass for the dogs to run through. It is a very quiet area. We didn’t see any animals (other than chickens) or people (besides Dale - but he double checked that it was okay to meet us!) We will definitely be back!

My dogs love the creek & finding large sticks to chew on. Quiet trails. I have great peace of mind coming out here with my two dogs and just letting them run and have fun. The pond is an awesome bonus!

We’re from out of town, but we were staying in the area this weekend and are so glad we decided to check this spot out!! Our dogs enjoyed the freedom to run and the many deer smells. We’ve never been to a Sniffspot this big! 2 hours was a perfect chunk of time to explore most of the area.

I can’t imagine a better place for our dogs! A spring fed pond that’s clean and warm to clean off and swim after they help themselves to the creek. Lots of good trails for them to run free. My dogs were so happy! A golden retrievers paradise.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
