Very large and spacious property!! Feels very secluded with all the trees and bushes surrounding so not being fenced in wasn't an issue for us at all. My little dachshund loved getting to run free! The owners seem to put a lot of care into make this a great space for dogs and humans and it shows! We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice spot. The field was clean and not muddy. The river access and tree lined trail at the back of the field make it extra special. We had a great time. I was worried that without a fence the dogs would be interested in going up to the house or barn but they had plenty to keep them engaged on the correct part of the property. The hosts were kind and accommodating.

This place was amazing! Unfortunately my dogs are aggressive with other dogs so taking them to dog parks is out of the question. I’m SO grateful for Sniffspot’s like this bc my dogs can run freely without the stress of seeing other dogs. My pups had a blast. In fact my eldest dog refused to leave! She sat her butt down and looked at me defiantly! She was like, “Nah, this place is great, we’re not going anywhere.” In all seriousness this property is amazing for dogs. The field is well-maintained. Obviously watch where you’re walking because vermin will dig holes on any large property but we enjoyed our time. Having River access was great. I can’t wait to come back in the summer!

What a great place! A large open field and Clackamas River access. There is a large gravel parking lot with a porta potty in the corner. A water shed with a hose and a pooper scooper and a picnic table. We were greeted by a host who had filled a bowl and bucket with water. Yadi ran for the entire hour and had so much fun. We will come back with some friends.

Great space! Clean, private, peaceful. The river is pretty high right now so we didn't explore the water much (we let him have a leashed sniff on the shore) but we'll definitely come back in warmer weather. The open field area is the perfect size for a hardy game of toss with a Chuck It! Not an issue for my pup, but we could hear dogs barking (across the river?) and some guys in a boat also went by - just an FYI for the most sensitive of doggos.

We absolutely loved this place! We have a 3 1/2 yr old half German shepherd/half Labradoodle and a 1 yr old Mastiff (who is reactive to other dogs), they were like two kids in a candy store running and sniffing around. They loved it here and were so excited to run around freely! There was a dog that barked in the distance but didn’t phase our dogs. Lots of room to throw a ball, and the pups were tired out in 45 minutes. Great communication with the owner. Fresh water for the dogs, picnic table, port a potty, and garbage can available for use. Access to the river but did not utilize it this visit. Great communication with the owner. Peaceful and quiet environment. We will definitely be back! 🐶🐾❤️🐶🐾

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
