I have been boarding dogs at my home for 10 years, so the sniffing in my backyard is better than a fine wine! I have a fenced yard, with an ornamental iron gate, looking out to the front yard/street, which the dogs love, as well as an ornamental iron “window”, abutting the pool, which allows for a bark-fest with the Corgis next door. I have a large shade-structure umbrella on my upper pool deck, as well as a glider, for owner use. Hose is always on, with flower sprayer attachment, for (re)filling water bowl, or spray-cleaning pee on pool deck.

This is a fun, spacious spot with a pool available for dogs to use, lots of grassy space for your dog to run around, lighting at night, and different amenities for humans! It's generally best for dogs over 20 pounds because of a small gap under a gate in the yard (see the fencing section of the description), but dogs under this weight are more than welcome to come if this isn't an issue for them! The yard also has lounge chairs (just take the black covers off and then put them back on before you leave) and a outlet for charging (behind the chairs in the shade) for owners, as well as other amenities (see the amenities section).

What makes our pool truly special for canines is the pool ramp – a perfect feature for dogs who are a bit hesitant about water. This ramp allows your dog to gradually get used to the water at their own pace. For conservation purposes, we maintain the water level at ramp height, meaning the pool reaches a depth of at least 5 feet at its deepest point. Beyond the pool, there's a world of exploration waiting for your dog. The yard offers a plethora of sniffing spots and leads to the enchanting Cottonwood Creek. It's important to note that this area is not fenced, so do keep a watchful eye on your adventurous companions. Before diving into the pool, we kindly ask that you shower your dogs. With lush green grass, paved stone areas and large mature trees, this yard in the nearby Bird Streets is a dog’s paradise. Our house sits on a half-acre corner lot and has a large fully fenced backyard with unique areas. There is plenty of space for running, playing fetch, or just relaxing in the grass. A splash pad provides some extra fun during these hot summer days. We keep capacity limited in order to provide a custom experience and to keep the massive amounts of space a haven for your porches. If the outdoor fan isn't set up on the deck, please feel free to grab it from the shed on the north(or left if you are facing the house). You don't need to put it back. I'm sure other guests would enjoy it as well. Open up the umbrella, and take a seat at the picnic table. There are chair cushions for extra comfort.
