11/17/2024 - Due to the colder weather, we've enabled reservations in half-hour increments. Come rain or shine, and play or train, in or out. We have covered parking for you, 800 square feet of covered, protected, and padded play area in our pole barn, and 1200 square feet (0.3 acres) of fully fenced and shaded outdoor play connected to the barn. The SniffSpot is very private and removed from the house. All areas have lights so you can safely play late afternoons during the winter. Our secluded property is at the end of the road, yet close to town and just off the freeway. We provide toys for you to use while here, for large and small dogs, and for dogs with disabilities. Be sure to check out our Extras (all free). The SniffSpot gate is from the original Seattle Humane Society facility.

2.1 acres of fully-fenced heaven. As a dog owner/lover, this provides a necessary peace of mind. Pull inside the gate, and let ‘em lose! Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended. NOTE: Sniffspot is promoting their “Sniffpass”, and they have the box automatically checked to “Opt in” when you make a booking. This is out of my control. I do not want my guests to feel Sniffpass is necessary to book my spot. Please uncheck that box if you are not interested to avoid unnecessary “surprise” charges upon checkout (unless you want to subscribe, which is totally ok too!).

Dogs and livestock have been a huge part of our lives. We'd like to share the enjoyment we've had with our dogs in the training/play room area. It’s a perfect place to work your dog or let them play and unwind all while being out of the weather or in the evening when the sun is gone down. This was our first time trying sniff spot and it was great. I really don’t know what more they could possibly do to make sure you have a nice experience. We live in Olympia and we're looking for a covered area to exercise our three dogs. The puppy isn't trained enough yet to be trusted in an open area, so we need secure fencing. This worked out well for us. It didn't storm as we thought it would, so the dogs got to run around like crazy and then go inside for rest and water. It was clean, secure, and protected... not as large as I thought it would be, but the pups had a great time and were tired out nonetheless.

This was a fantastic first experience using Sniffspot. This was such a nice Sniffspot! Very clean. Completely enclosed by secure tall fencing that I felt would keep my 55 lb dog safe & secure being let off leash. So nice to have a covered area plus an open uncovered area to be able to sniff, explore and play. Many toys are provided as well as fresh water and even a towel to wipe muddy paws before leaving. I was especially impressed by how well marked this Sniffspot was. It is not just marked once you arrive at the property, but quite a ways beforehand, which made it so easy to find. The host was extremely responsive when I reached out beforehand with a couple questions. I would 100% recommend this Sniffspot and look forward to returning again soon!

This was our first visit to a sniffspot and it's was absolutely perfect! Clean, private, peaceful setting with both indoor and outdoor play areas. The pups absolutely loved exploring the smells and chasing leaves and playing with the great variety of toys the hosts leave. There was also fresh water, towels for the paws and other essentials (hand sanitizer and doodoo bags) in case you forgot your own. It was the perfect outing for my pups especially my reactive girl. Total privacy and complete enclosure so I knew she could run and be happy without distractions or triggers. Absolutely will be back as a regular to this fun little piece of doggie heaven!

The hosts are just so amazing here. We came mid day on the Fourth to get some extra energy out before the scary boom booms started. Upon entering we saw the entire driveway flanked with American flags, the barn was decked out in festive fare inside and out. It was such a thoughtful and beautiful touch to an already magical place! The pups wore themselves out and really enjoyed the fresh water that is always ready for them! Can't recommend this sniffspot and hosts enough!!!
