Hello, pups! Come play in our big backyard! We have about an acre of land, and about half of that is in the back where you can hang out. There are three levels of yard, and the farthest back area is a big field perfect for running and playing. There is water, poop bags and a garbage can near the entrance gate. Half an acre of fenced in field for pups to play in privately on the beautiful property of St. Hubert's campus. Great to get zoomies out before or after a leashed hike or training class in our onsite dog training school. Feel free to stop by Buddy's Boutique after playtime for a doggie snack or new toy. All proceeds go to help homeless animals and low-income pet owners! Message before arrival for the combination to the lock on the gate. (It will be changed regularly.) PARTY PACKAGES AVAILABLE! Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Overall, the spot is quiet but please read the detailed sections about people, dogs, and domestic animals that can be seen/heard from our spot prior to booking. RULES OF THE RUN: • Dog owners are responsible for their dogs’ actions • Monitor and control your dog at all times, particularly non-neutered males as other males may react aggressively toward them • Remain alert. Interrupt rough play and mounting • No aggressive dogs • Dogs involved in a fight must be removed from the run • No dogs in heat • Discourage excessive barking, especially in the early morning and late evening • Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated against rabies, and free from all communicable diseases • No people without dogs; no dogs without people • No children inside the dog run unless accompanied by both an adult and a dog • Please do not climb or play on the mounds—they are only intended for dogs • A maximum of three dogs per person is allowed • Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult • You must clean up after your dog and place in trash receptacle • Dogs must wear a harness or collar while in the run. No prong, choke, or spike collars • Dogs must be leashed when exiting the dog run • No littering, smoking, barbecuing, open flame, or consumption of alcohol • No vending, amplified sound, demonstrations or events over 20 people, except by permit • No glass containers or food, except dog treats • Do not feed or offer treats to other dogs. • Do not leave personal property in the run • To avoid injuries, please fill in any holes • Ensure your dog is in the appropriate dog run based on its size • Close gates behind you, and only open one gate at a time when entering or leaving • Dog toys are discouraged
Newbridge Road Dog Park Rules • Dog owners must be Town of Hempstead residents only. • All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination tag and a current Town of Hempstead dog license visible. • No aggressive dogs are permitted. • Do not leave your dog unattended at any time. • Gates shall remain closed and latched at all times, except when entering and exiting. • Children age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Do not allow children to climb on the equipment. • Owners must clean up after their dog, and waste must be deposited in the designated bins. • All dogs must be leashed when preparing to leave the dog park and outside the dog park at all times. Dogs must be unleashed upon safe entry into the dog park. • Leashes cannot be longer than 6 feet in length. • Females in heat, puppies under 4 months, or animals other than dogs are not permitted in the park. • Prong, spike, choke collars and flex leashes are not permitted in the Dog Park. • No food or drink in the dog park (except plastic water bottles and water bowls). • No smoking. • Report any complaints to the Newbridge Road Pool Building Administrative Office at 516-783-2500.

Dog Rules Dogs are permitted off-leash only in designated areas from 6 am-9 am and 9 pm-1 am and at the Kensington Dog Run. Dogs must be leashed at all other times and in all other areas of Prospect Park. • To protect wildlife habitats, dogs must always be leashed and stay on paths in wooded areas. • At Dog Beach, dogs must be leashed except during off-leash hours. Caution: water becomes deep very fast. • Dogs are never allowed—even on leash—in playgrounds, on bridle paths or on ballfields or other designated sports areas. • Owners must always be in control of their dogs and leashes must be six feet or shorter. • Please dispose of dog waste properly. • Do not allow dogs to dig; holes create trip hazards for people. Connect with other dog owners through FIDO, and Kensington Dog Run Association which host events throughout the year.

Rules and Regulations • New York State law requires that dogs be vaccinated against rabies, and the New York City Health Code requires every dog owner/attendant carry with them proof of current dog license and rabies vaccination while in public.
